So I did the "Out of the fire" quest that brought you to Finch Farm before I did the Minutemen quest to go to the settlement. Later on, Preston told me he got word of a settlement that pushed back a supermutant raid but they were afraid they'd come back. "Defend Finch Farm" has now started.......... this is the glitch now. I fast travel there, instantly hit by 3 rockets. Each time reloading, same thing happens. If I don't travel directly there, it auto completes it and goes straight to "talk to preston" without saying the usual talk to the settlers thing. So basically... -go there to die instantly. -travel to nearest location and have a 50/50 of completing the quest or failing it. <-this resulted in Abraham wearing incorrect gear... different bug. -travel elsewhere, auto complete the quest and skip every other step. I have no idea what is going on, wanna know if anyone else has dealt with this and maybe has knowledge of how to fix it or if it will affect anything else in the game. Edit: Now Preston starts running off across the Commonwealth when I turned in the quest.......
