Hmm... I'm stumped. You have far more Grimoire than I, so I would expect you to understand this situation better. I'll research this odd... issue. Nice Eyasluna though. I got a similar one yesterday.

There are a few glitched ghosts you can grab multiple times that add to your count. One is by the Gate Lord and the other one I know of is in the Prison of Elders.

Why don't people just use them to boost Grimoire then?

Don't think it increases score, just the number on the ghosts you've collected. You don't earn the card again.
