Instead of him giving you a gun, he gives you the ability to reroll 1 weapon, 1 time with 3 different rolls just like the weekly bounties he currently offers.
If you like one of the rolls you choose it.
If you don't like any of the rolls you cancel out.
But you cant reuse the reroll. 1 time use.
You cant exploit it cause you can only do 5 bounties a week... period.
That is all

Thanks all for the replies. Most people think this is s good idea. The others just don't want anybody to challenge them for their God rolls or think it would be a waste of time. These people are entitled to their opinion... But they are wrong lol
-
Damn this is a nice idea since we can't even donate materials for extra rep
-
3 RepliesWhy can't bunghole produce a real fckin smith' who can actually give you a weapon in the configuration you request for a set payment AND get it done right the first time
-
2 RepliesIf they had to bring back re rolling weapons, I think the Division has done it pretty well. If you decide to re roll a perk then that's the only perk that can ever be re rolled and it costs a greater amount each time you do.
-
34 RepliesYep, lets make the best weaponry even more available, genius. Even if it is still RNG, your basically getting twice the chances to get god drops. Should RNG be fixed? Yes. But re rolling shouldn't be in destiny again. In y1 everyone had got god roll shotguns and legendary handcannons, same with snipers. Re-rolling makes the best weaponry even more available. Crucible would be filled with god roll weapons again. And right now crucible is pretty balanced in the weapon department. Bring some unflinching snipers, and another round of god roll snipers into the mix? We are back to square one. The best weaponry should be gained through trials, IB, raids, and PoE. All end game content is basically what im saying. I shouldn't be able to get the best perks for a vender weapon, simply because i ranked the gun smith up.

4 RepliesWhy do you people want reforging back so bad?
-
I like it.
-
Those against reforge just got lucky and are terrified of losing their lucky advantage over the less lucky players. It's not balanceed. Reforge is balanced. Fk rng.
-
5 RepliesNo, stop being lazy. There are plenty of us that put in the work for the weapons we want.
-
2 Replies-blam!- just let us pick the damn perks we want on our gear! All the other fps games do this!
-
How do you do it again?
-
1 ReplyNah just get a party crasher to drop like the one on my hunter.
-
3 RepliesWort.
-
I think you should still be able to reroll IB weapons
-
2 RepliesGod no. -blam!- that, that was the biggest problem of year one. Everybody would just keep rerolling shotguns until they got a sniper shotgun. That was god awful, never let that crap return. Let it lay in the dirt and rot like it should.

What about legendary marks?
-
We don't need more God took weapons
-
1 ReplyWait, since when does the gunsmith have weekly bounties?
-
1 ReplyWould this be for Any Legendary? or only for Gunsmith Foundry Weapons? Leaning towards Foundry-only myself.... cause, balance and lore
-
7 RepliesNo, rerolling can't be in a game like this. Remember HoW? The 'god-rolls' we're so common because you could reroll. That's why shotguns got hit so hard because everyone had a god roll felwinters.
-
10 RepliesI just want re rolling back in whatever way possible. I've never been a fan of people getting God rolls bc RNG loves them, and other people getting crap rolls bc RNG hates them. I've gotten 3 Grasps and they all have shit rolls. While some kid runs it 5 times and gets a god roll. BS to the max.

U guys know bungie never listens to people like us right?

Edited by yam: 5/25/2016 4:38:32 AMThis is... actually a perfectly logical solution to the double/triple rng issue, while not unbalancing the game. It also helps motivate people to level gunsmith, which is something i stopped doing months ago... probably one of the most sound and reasonable contributions I have ever seen.

Best idea I've seen I regards to rerolling weapons well done, of course it will never happen though.
