Anyone Else Burnt Out From RNG?
When KF came out we had awful RNG. I dealt with it, got my ascendant plane, and took a break for a month.
Then we got this update with 'new' weapons and armor. I did the prison bounties and sigil on all three characters for a few weeks. I got one ok roll on a gun and that's it. Every single weapon drop I have received since that has been garbage. And it's either that or some crappy reskinned prison armor.
Not to mention that I cannot find a single sublime engram for my hunter that yields the new gear set items. They just drop the old one. And I've played a lot.
So at this point I don't even feel like playing other than the occasional Rumble runs for grimoire. Not a bitch post. I'm just saying that I'm burnt out of the shitty RNG. I think they made 335 way too easy and the RNG way too scarce this time around.
Also, I feel some type of ways about the loot history of KF. It makes me feel kinda stupid for having grinded it, only for it to drop incredible loot at a later date.

The drop rate on sublime engrams is abysmally low. I've gotten 2 post April Update and they have both become Hesperos gear. I'm sick of RNG. I want the ability to reforge weapons with some work. I can't count the amount of Party Crashers that have dropped with perks like exhumed. Like who came up with that perk?? Why did they think it would be useful EVER? So many perks in this game are horrible and it just adds to the terrible RNG of Destiny. Seriously, I HATE this game, yet I still play it. Hopefully Overwatch takes me away from this trash.

3 RepliesOh absolutely. Since returning after 6 months away, I have yet to get any of the ewer exotics to drop. My fireteam will get queen's bow, lord of wolves, zen meteor, etc. 3oC have never worked for me so I just lower my expectations.

2 RepliesSublime engrams drop rate is ridiculous. To make things worse, when you finally get one, it turns into old gear. I stopped playing for that reason. The grind for sublime engrams is too much and is not worth it. I'll problably just play on tuesdays to get the sterling packages until i complete the spectar gear collection. Then....i think i'm out for good.

And i can even give poeple my RNG if im in a game with them. Spent 'no shit' less than 2 minutes on the dreadnought. I loaded in, killed 1 knight and got a worm rune and a legendary engram, used the run and killed the ogre. It dropped an exotic and a legendary. From this i got the one exotic weapon i didnt have, a god roll hawksaw, and the other legendary became a 310 patience and time.(didnt even have to go to the kiosk for it XD) [spoiler]so when you cant get anything good from RNGesus, its because im his daddy and i took your RNG[/spoiler]

3 RepliesI also grinded KF to get ascendant plane; never running it again haha. I just need 1 more POE Exotic (Lord of Wolves) and I'll be good for Year 2.

All I get is armor from Vanguard and Crucible packages. I can't quit cold turkey, but my Destiny career is definitely nearing an end. 335 is easy mode for casuals. The new grind is weapons and good perks. I gave it s shot, but the time and effort are no longer worth it.
