Crucible Restrictions / BannHammers

First off , I'm a day 1 beta player . I've stuck around and been dedicated to the community and game for years now . Never really complained much outside of of grumbling to friends etc. But I've recently gotten a two week bann due to connection . No warning or anything . I did my research and noticed that they did state they were buffing the amount of players that have had a bad connection or cheating in the crucible in the result of handing out more restrictions to help aid the crucible for better lag free play . I agree with that , in the aspect that something needed to happen ,, but penalizing players with restricting them from playing is out of control . They are seriously jeopardizing their relationship with players and the sole desire to keep playing when the time and money spent is being forcfully taken away . I looked up my up and down speeds and I have a 45 up 15 down and 20 ping . By no means is that amazing , but it is across the line good and stable , but yet I've still been restricted for 2 weeks . Also you cannot argue your restriction , all cases are final and if you get a moderator to reply it will be a generic copy and paste reply . So don't bother trying to contact anyone . My final thoughts are Bungie over stepped their attempt to clean up the crucible and potentially ruined their returning players day to day by destroying their ability to play all the content the PAID for ! If possible if you agree , please bump or like to hopefully get their attention and bring this to light that it's gone to far and we want our rightful content to play . Also I understand cheating etc... it's wrong and deserving of your rights to play taken away . I believe in skill and integrity before anything. I've played competitively since H2 within MLG and Gamebattles so I'm well aware of cheaters getting what they deserve . Leave that to Xbox and PlayStation networking to Bann ppl for bad sportsmanship etc. I'm not here to argue so please keep your hate mail to yourself . Don't worry I'll be back in 2 weeks to keep spankin that @ss !

    • Just to clarify, no one pays for content. Everyone pays for a license to access the game. With that license is a stipulation (that we all agree to the moment we start playing) that Bungie can run the game the way they see fit. That includes temporary restrictions, etc.

      • Yes i agree bungie shouldn't ban players just because they dont have a good connection. It not like they chose to lag or live in an area where they are restricted to what internet they have. Only group that should be resticted or banned is acual cheaters.

      • Maybe they should have special servers for hackers and bad connection players
