They replaced the perk shot package, bungie already knows how to do this from a technical standpoint. Not sure why this can't be done again

The difference is shot package was removed outright. And for quiver, it was always guaranteed to be there after the fix. It's a bit more complicated with CC. They would have to disable the ability for rockets to roll with it, while also replacing it on existing ones. Unless they had a guaranteed perk that rolled in its place. But how many folks would know about that? Tons of guardians would either dismantle or keep based on that replacement perk. Then, once they fixed it, the perk would change leaving them wondering wtf was going on.

Because there are people who use those weapons before the glitch came about, taking a perk off a weapon someone counts on is wrong, just disabling quiver wasn't too big of a hindrance since it didn't mean you would be missing a perk completely, it just wasn't the one you wanted for a bit. But to the shotpackage thing, did you have a weapon that got it replaced? They gave you the worst perk possible in its place. It only worked because none of those came to year 2, these changes to current weapons would make them useless. I do agree that they could do something like that, but you run the risk of giving God perks, or shit perks.

I believe the replacement for shot package was kneepads. That's not bad

It's a temporary fix. You return CC when the glitch itself is fixed
