You sound pretty lame right now honestly, if your gonna ban anybody ban bungie, it's their fault that they let this happen, what people don't get is that players should get banned for cheating, like actually cheating (aimbots, lag switching ect...) just because somebody is using a exploit isn't cheating, it's bungies fault.

Edited by Cypher02xd: 5/20/2016 1:21:26 PMexplain how an "exploit" to gain an unfair advantage over others, is not cheating because by definition it absolutely is. No one is forcing you to use the exploit, it's something you choose to do.
-
Because it is an in-game exploit, just because someone is using perks on a weapon that bungie made to get extra heavy is not ban worthy or anyone's fault, it is bungies fault, using aim bots or lag switching is cheating, usin weapons that bungie made to your advantage isn't, you've clearly never played pvp with people who are actually cheating.
-
I've absolutely played against trials players who were unkillable and kept capping the point despite us standing right on top of it. Just because it is an in-game exploit doesn't mean it's not cheating. Cheating is cheating, people need to have some damn integrity whether it's a video game or not.
-
Edited by Prime Je11yfish: 5/20/2016 1:44:39 PMThat sounds like cheating... But just because a players switches from his/her primary weapon to a heavy and you get a rocket isn't anyone's fault but bungies. It's definitely a exploit to the max level but nobody is going to get banned for something bungie made. Bungie made those perks and it's their fault that it happens, nobody else's. Nobody is running around with aim bots or lag switching, you simply just hold your y or triangle button and boom you got a rocket, last time I checked, switching weapons isn't cheating.
-
You're defending cheating plain and simple. You're right, it is a glitch on the developers end but no one is being forced to use it. Anybody with some integrity would simply not use that weapon (and lets be real 90% of people in trials use truth or tripod/G&H combo). This reminds of a quote I always see online, "true character is who you are when no one else is around". Clearly the vast majority of people who play Destiny have shit character if they are using the glitch.
-
This guy gets it.
-
Just so you know, clown cartridge is supposed to be reloading the actual rocket launcher. If cucoon is reloading your heavy from your primary and secondary slots, then yes it's a glitch/bug and it's not the intention of the developers. It needs to be fixed. People who exploit the game to gain unfair advantages over players are, by definition, cheating. No one is forcing you to use it.
-
And no one forced bungie to make those perks for the weapons, but they did, and bungie should fix it, players shouldn't get in trouble fr something bungie did, it is nobody's fault but bungies. All the player is simply doing is switching weapons, i mean seriously lol all you have to do is switch from your primary to heavy and you get a rocket, that's not cheating last time I checked, just because you get a rocket out of it isn't anyone's fault.
-
But then you realize it only happens with those specific raid weapons so you get to choose to use then for the glitch , because let's be honest here the only one used or seen in pvp by my eyes is the sniper , the rest people use it for pve because taken issues
-
No its not my fault for switching to my heavy and getting a rocket, and yes if cucoon is giving heavy ammo when it shouldn't be, it should be fixed. It's not working correctly, and it's ruining people's pvp experience by granting heavy outside it's intended role. Glitches and exploits are always the developers faults, but to say that it's fair to use them because the developer overlooked something is completely immature. It's unintended and it's to gain an advantage. You must have been a regular abuser of the shadowshot glitch.
-
THANK YOU. Somebody else with intelligence and some sort of integrity.

Edited by Prime Je11yfish: 5/20/2016 1:50:43 PMI didn't even get TTK until November because of how upsetting HoW was soI have never used a glitch like this or the shadow shot glitch (didn't even know there was a shadow shot glitch, please explain) all I'm saying is that technically it's not cheating because it's the perks of the weapons that do it, I didn't hack or use anything outside of the game to get infinite heavy.
I assume you say I abused some hunter glitch because it's the last character I played on, I main a voidwalker lol
-
The Shadowshot glitch allowed for infinite tethers. If I remember correctly, all you had to do was select Quiver, Shadestep, and something else (maybe) under the Nightstalker perk branches, and equip the Graviton Forfeit helmet. Once you had a charged super, you could shoot one or two arrows, then go directly into your inventory. Once you exited your inventory, your super was still fully charged.
-
You didn't need to have Shadestep equipped. You just needed Graviton Forfeit and Quiver to use it.
-
Ah, then the guy that told me how to do it originally was a blueberry. I was forced to use it in a raid once, and he told me that I HAD to have it on. I thought it was odd, but just moved on.
-
The helmet gives you that perk automatically so there was no reason to double up. That's where I learned about it, too. Orbs every where in Golgoroth's pit.
-
Yeah, it was Golgoroth that I was made to use it on. But it wasn't for the orbs - it was because no one was doing enough DPS, so they thought having him infinitely tethered would work. It didn't, though, lol.

Wow.......
