So I just got Thunderlord and there's no special exotic ability on it. It's almost the exact same as all my other deleted machine guns..
Feeding frenzy
Perfect balance
Field scout
Flared magwell
Lightning rounds
I have all that on at least 2 guns in the bank...
Even no land beyond has a Fkn exotic perk ffs!

Edited by Deadcell186: 5/20/2016 11:47:06 AMLet's make this simple: Thunderlord has the same TTK as Quillims. Higher AA than Quillims. Larger mag than Quillims. A bit less base stability. A bit more range. Reload? Feeding Frenzy vs Cocoon.......FF wins out IMO. Firing at a group? TL would be more efficient because of its exotic perk. IMO, TL hands down!

9 RepliesA, Lightning rounds is an exotic perk, it's not on any other machine gun B, It has a hidden perk which makes it pierce through enemies and has a chance to make them explode. Now is it exotic? Plus it looks freaking cool
-
We all got different strokes. I personally love the Thunder Lord. What's not to like about it? Has built-in Firefly, sounds badass, looks badass. Guess you're a rocket guy. Oh well, like I said different strokes for different folks.

2 RepliesI don't know what your question is exactly but TL is still the best MG in the game and been at the top since year 1.
-
Exotics usually have unique things with the weapons. Which it does have a perk that only on it with lightning rounds. But, it's also is in the same HMG type as the crucible's ruin wake, IB machine gun and new monarchy one and the raid machine gun, with the raid one coming the closes but only with an added perk to it, but Thunder Lord hold a lot more rounds in the mag from all of those HMGs.

Edited by Wheeze: 5/20/2016 1:00:04 PMIt's like Y1 all over again! No, but seriously, Thunderlord has an Exotic Perk and is much better in Y2. The Fourth Horseman is an exotic without an Exotic Perk.

lightning rounds is unique to TL but in all honesty it's not that special but it puts in work, just like MIDA.
-
2 RepliesIf you cannot tell the difference, you should not be using it anyways.

Edited by ElonSkywalker: 5/20/2016 12:36:21 PMTake it to Siege or the Warmind and watch it destroy wave after wave of exploding thralls! Edit: It makes them explode.

Lightning rounds
Allow me to offer a suggestion or two Compare the Thunderlord to any other machine gun in the game to see if anything else has Lightning rounds.. (Note - not Arc damage, but the perk) Take one of two you have - level it up and use it. Once you have done these two suggestions, then come back and explain to us how the Thunderlord has no exotic perk. We'll wait

I wish i could get the year 2 thunderlord from the blueprints but there's a glitch at the minute so it doesn't show even if you have the year 1 variant
-
-blam!- -blam!- -blam!- you're stupid.
-
Also has a hidden perk of a arc based explosion randomly.
-
Lighting rounds is the exotic perk, and it has a hidden perk, which is firefly except you don't need to aim for the head
-
You must be some degree of retard if you don't think lightning rounds is it's exotic perk
-
I love it when I get lightning rounds roll on weapons.
-
Lightning rounds only come on Thunderlord.
-
1 ReplyEdited by A 2017 Snek: 5/20/2016 11:12:56 AMHidden firefly (even on body shots). Also, you can't have lightning rounds on any other gun besides thunderlord.
-
2 RepliesIts my fav lmg it shoots faster the longer you hold the trigger down
-
Because lightning rounds appear on most legendary Mg's right? As well as firefly which is a hidden perk on it
-
Not sure about yours. But when my super charged. I can can cast wrath of the god and damage all enemies in the map. Each enemy that kill by this special charge will recover 15 percent each.
-

-
