Should I buy universal remote??

Just wandered if the universal remote was any good and whether it was worth buying.

It's very useable in PvP, but primarily for highly aggressive playstyles that rely on you closing the distance quickly between you and your opponents. It synergizes best with Striker Titans who really don't mind running up to people's faces. In PvE, the Remote has seen better days. The numerous shotgun range and damage nerfs mean that the weapon just isn't as satisfying to use against endgame enemies. It's also totally worthless against a lot of bosses, meaning you have to rely more on your snipers for hurting them - which ALSO received stupid nerfs in the form of reduced backpack ammo... Thank PvP for that. Defenders can get pretty good use out of the weapon with No Backup Plans, but you're generally better off with a hard-hitting scout rifle and an automatic shotgun in your secondary slot for steamrolling elite mobs. It's a great weapon to use if you're bored and want to have fun, but I wouldn't call it the most competitive or endgame-friendly weapon unless you seriously know what you're doing.

    • It's ok in pvp once you unlock the last perk, I don't think it's good for pve. If you have strange coins to blow you could buy it and play around and see how you like it. If you love shotguns it's kinda fun.

    • Might as well buy it while you can. A lot of players like it in trials since it allows you to use a sniper and a shotgun at the same time. It's decent but not the greatest shotgun around...

    • Ive been using it for a while, and ive had no problems since I'm a shotgun kind of guy. It's a little clunky at first but you catch on real quick.

    • Do you really love shotguns? If yes go for it - I found it pairs well with a sniper, but generally if you have an up close and personal play style it's a solid weapon. Ammo tends to be an issue for it though, and I've never got it to work for me in pvp.
