DOOM guy is actually the "dead" guardian we find on the moon in Destiny. He was then brought back by the stranger and revived. He now takes pleasure in avenging his own death by destroying all devil creatures that resemble the hive. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW !

Doomguy being revived looks at his enemies in the destiny Universe laughs and Starts tearing them apart when he gets to meet oryx he severs his head and uses it as a punching glove. Nothing important just fun weapon. Then he Starts turning on the last survivors and creates "hell" in this Solar system by enslaving the people to build a Fortress on venus. By cracking the Traveler open he discovers that the Traveler actually is a entity that diverts the attention of the dark force away from them and therefore turns it into a beaken (Tracking Signal) to be found by them. Some signs of an enormeos force become apparent so he goes to hell to subdue Satan to be his Lieutenant and they fight the darkness together only to become the darkness themselves with the Fortress on venus as their headquarters since they can make use of time travel to become a indetructable force until they find out that there is a surviving Clan of the wargods from the last century that has been preparing for a war the last 100 years and now is on the Verge of moving in. +DLCs For refinery comments down below :)

The Traveler is Satan. Doomguy immediately proceeds to beat it to death with the corpse of a dreg. Story over.

DOOM Guy was Rezyl Azzir. One of the first guardians. He fought & defeated demons died of exposure then was resurrected as a Titan & continued his lifestyle of badassum. [spoiler]Rezyl Azzir was revived by his Ghost in a time when Guardians were known only as The Risen, when Titans were not yet called Titans, and when the Last City was still an unnamed urban sprawl growing beneath the Traveler and its walls had yet to be built. As one of The Risen, Rezyl helped protect the countless refugees who flocked to the Traveler as the Dark Age gave way to the City Age. When a schism arose between The Risen, with some eschewing serving as enforcers for the City's burgeoning, oppressive Factions and deciding to take a more noble path, Rezyl fought in the ensuing Faction Wars and gained a reputation as a great leader and champion. When the Fallen first began to encroach on the City, Rezyl helped unite The Risen into the Guardians to repel them, earning further fame. He would spend the years afterwards defending the City, watching its new walls rise and wondering if humanity would ever be safe with the Darkness still out there, lurking. Other feats undertaken by Rezyl include fending off an ambush by the House of Devils, assassinating a Kell by intentionally dying to a crew of Fallen and being revived when the Kell arrived to gloat over his body, and saving a remote settlement from a Fallen attack.[/spoiler]

The Vanguard put all of their knowledge and technology to create Doom Guy. They send him through a Portal to the Black Garden because space travel by ship is no longer safe. Doom Guy destroys the Darkness that held the other dimension of the Black Garden in place. The shockwave threw him far away and hit a wall rendering him unconscious. The Darknesses true form(demons) capture Doom Guy and take away his armor, place him on a table hoping to corrupt the light the Traveler gave him. Then begins Doom2016's story.

The place is set in Mars and you must figure out you're choice of destruction for the traveler.Although guardians think that the traveler is repelling the demons so They will try to kill you to protect the traveler.You as the protagonist must choose whether you want to kill or spare guardians that intervene.Your enemies are pretty the guardians and the demons.Btw they do fight each other making it more interesting and you will be able to glory kill guardians.You will occasionally encounter on your travels in earth(when you get there) the hive and fallen(yes you will also be able to glory kill them)

1 ReplyAfter the portal to hell was permanently closed, the doom marine was put back into cryogenic stasis. Some time into the future an alien race shows up in the solar system to attack earth. A higher up remembers hearing about the legendary doom marine in the basement freezer and thinks "maybe he could help."

2 RepliesTurns out the darkness is actually a black hole at the edge of the universe. The black hole leads to hell ala event horizon. Meanwhile a titan was knocked out during a mission on Mars. He awakes with amnesia and is referred as the doom marine. While this is happening the darkness begins spewing out demons. The doom marine is told he has to stop the demons.

Doomguy is actually the traveler and goes to the darkness which is just Demons from hell. That orb was a lie made up by doomguy.

Oryx took Doom Guy's rabbit, so, he goes on a journey to battle Daisy and take revenge by grinding something completely irrelevant until his Megasphere Level is high enough to grind Oryx for the UAC gear that gives bonuses during the Oryx fight.
