The vanguard booster only effects rep gained from strikes..... Don't was them if you're just going to do patrol. That being said, if you have no booster, patrol is the fastest method. And with a fireteam 3 split up on Cosmodrome you could probably blow away strikes. This video is good, but def leaves a lot out.

It's also basic common sense, if you get around 150% more rep for a strike that is only 33% longer (his times for strikes is shit btw, if you can't burn through a heroic in 12-14 minutes solo, there's a problem, or you're just lower light) of course you're going to maximize your time in the one that pays out more.

His dude spends 15 minutes just to say heroic strikes are best way. Better than normal strikes or patrol missions.

Very interesting thanks. I was thinking normal strikes might be best too. Only reason I continued to do heroics was for loot. So good video.
