Entrance
- Two Guardians must each grab a Tomb Husk from one of the pedestals and place them onto the glowing statue simultaneously. Tomb Husks will move further away from the starting area with each statue (down the left and right corridors).
- Shields will appear over doorways that can only be damaged by bullets and enemies will spawn.
- After activating all six statues, proceed through the portal.
***
Tombships
- Starting from the docked Tombship, move from between the Tombships to navigate the gap.
- The Tombships move in a set pattern and appear and disappear at regular intervals.
- At the other side of the gap, there is a Tombship with circular plates on either side and a doorway protected by a barrier that prevents Guardians from passing. Guardians must stand on the plates to allow a third Guardian to pass through the barrier on the Tombship. Past the barrier there is another set of plates used to open the barrier from the inside.
- Only one member of the fireteam needs to pass through the dock. Continuing past the dock will automatically send all remaining Guardians past it.

The Warpriest's Trial
- Enter the room. There are Hive Acolytes and Adepts in front of a barrier and a circular plate on the floor (similar to those seen in the Tombship section). To the left and the right are rooms with an Annihilator Totem (Tower) in each of them. These will kill the fireteam if activated for too long.
- The fireteam must split into two teams, one for each side. Note that the right side is significantly harder than the left.
- Start the activity by picking up the Aura (Ball of Energy) at the beginning of each room. The Guardian with the aura will be given the buff "Brand of the Unraveller" which will create a bubble that will prevent the totem from activating when stood under.
- After 30 seconds, the aura will transfer to a Guardian within the bubble and a Hive Knight will spawn above the totem. The Guardian who had the aura will be given the buff "Deathsinger's Power" (starts with a stack of 10). This prevents them from regaining the aura and must be removed by standing in the centre circle. If there is no other Guardians inside the bubble, the aura will move back to its starting location.
- The objective is to keep the aura bubble underneath the totem until the Warpriest "Deems you worth", whilst defending against the Hive that spawn.

The Warpriest
- Enter the Warpriest's room. There are circular plates in the centre, left and right parts of the room. Activate all three of them to summon the Warpriest.
- The Warpriest can't be damaged initially. Once three Hallowed Knights have been killed, the one of the three monuments in the room will light up one after another, indicating the in which the plates must be activated.
- Once all three have been activated in order, one random Guardian will be given the buff "Aura of the Initiate" that allows Guardians inside its bubble to damage the Warpriest. This buff lasts for 10 seconds and will kill the Guardian with the buff when the timer reaches zero. Killing an enemy resets the timer.
- After five enemy kills by the Guardian with the buff, the Warpriest "Calls upon the Oculus". This will kill any Guardian not hiding behind a monument and resets the monuments.
- Repeat this process to defeat the Warpriest.
***
Golgoroth's Cellar
- The fireteam must move through a dark maze whilst avoiding holes in the floor.
- Flying insects indicate the location of the holes.
- This can be avoided entirely by dying whilst standing on top of the pillar at the entrance of the maze.
***
Golgoroth
- Enter the room. There is a Bubble of Darkness one the ceiling directly above a pit on the floor. Shooting it summons Golgoroth.
- In the back of the room there is a black column with five runes carved into it called the Tablet of Ruin. Six Guardian deaths by any means (even if revived) will kill the whole fireteam. Golgoroth will instantly kill any Guardians that step into the pit that he is standing in.
- Six more bubbles appear on the ceiling. Shooting them causes a pool of light to form on the floor beneath Golgoroth that increases any damage done to him.
- Golgoroth will focus his "Gaze" onto any Guardian that shoots his back and he will only attack that Guardian for a short time. This remains active as long as they remain within Golgoroth's line of sight and allows Guardians to step into the pit that Golgoroth is standing in to damage him more effectively.
- At low health, the room fills with Taken instead of Hive.
- Repeat this process to defeat Golgoroth.
***
The Pistons
- The fireteam must move across the platforms whilst avoiding the pistons that move out of the wall.
- Plates must be stepped on to allow more platforms to appear. Stepping off the pads causes the platforms to disappear.
- Once all the plates have been activated, the platforms become permanent, allowing the fireteam to proceed to the next area.
***
The Daughters of Oryx
- Enter the final room with the two Deathsingers. There are four pedestals (one in each corner) and two pillars that the Deathsingers are standing on.
- Both Deathsingers are protected by a shield. The Brand (Spark of Light) is located above one of the platforms. This is used to lower the Deathsinger's shields.
- One random Guardian will be "Torn Between Dimensions".
- All other Guardians must stand in the centre of one of the pedestals in order starting from the pedestal to the right of the Spark's pedestal and travelling anti-clockwise, causing platforms to appear and starting the "Hymn of Weaving" that will kill all members of the fireteam after one minute.
- Using the platforms, the Guardian "Torn Between Dimensions" must travel upwards to the Spark of Light using the platforms in same order as they were activated.
- After picking up the Spark of Light, the Guardian "Torn between dimensions should jump into the shield of the Deathsinger that is NOT singing. This lowers the shield and allows Guardians standing next to the Branded Guardian to be protected from the "Hymn of Weaving".
- After killing the first Deathsinger, the next "Hymn of Weaving" will begin automatically.
- Repeat this process for the other Deathsinger.
***
Oryx, the Taken King
- Summon Oryx, the Taken King by picking up the Spark at the front of the arena. Kill the Taken that spawn.
- Oryx will then move towards a random pedestal and punch it, leaving behind a Spark of Light. The Guardian that picks up the Spark will become "Torn Between Dimensions" (similar to the Deathsingers fight).
- This pedestal is now the first pedestal in reaching the Spark. Allow the Guardian "Torn Between Dimension" to reach the Spark above the fourth pedestal and use it on the Vessel of Oryx to steal its shield, giving the buff "Aura of Immortality".
- Other Guardians should defeat the Light-Eater Ogre that spawn at each pedestal, leaving behind a Corrupted Light Sphere (Small Taken Blight).
- When Oryx opens his chest, continually shoot at it to make him stagger.
- Four Guardians must then step within the circles surrounding the corrupted light spheres until it is full channeled, then run into the bubble created by the Guardian with "Aura of Immortality".
- The corrupted light spheres will then explode, damaging Oryx. Shoot at his chest to damage him further.
- Oryx will then appear at the front of the arena and will use one of two attacks:
- When at more than 50% health, he uses a barrage attack that can be avoided by running around the arena.
- When at less than 50% health, will create a bubble of darkness at the front of the arena and gradually teleport all Guardians within it. Guardians can escape by defeating the Shade of Oryx inside the bubble (similar to the final phase of the Oryx fight in Regicide).
- Repeat this process to defeat Oryx.
- At 1% health, Oryx will stand at the front of the arena and will open his chest. Shoot his chest to finish him off.
- If not defeated within a set period of time, Oryx becomes enraged. Oryx will move to one of the pedestals and clap his hands together, instantly killing the whole fireteam.
