Make snipers a heavy weapon class for PvP? Or other ideas?

Would this solve ppl's issues?

  • If they trade snipers for rocket launchers I'd agree with you. Maybe make machine guns primary while we're at it.

    • Some thing along the lines of the two thoughts below? Theses are made up numbers but you get the gist. After 3 seconds of hard scope while standing and 5 seconds while crouching sway is increased to max flinch levels. Also it would take time for the sway to "cooldown" back to normal after the sniper is no longer being scoped. Or wep sway would be immediate and one would have to wait 5 seconds while standing and 3 seconds when crouched for the sway to level out. This one would at least make quick scoping very very hard.

    • If you were forced to de-scope when shot in the head for critical damage I think that would solve the issue

    • They considered this early on but changed their minds. The issue with snipers is lack of flinch when getting hit by a primary. It needs to be way more severe or descope. The game doesn't encourage primary gunplay. People use snipers like primaries. The other problem is the time to scope in is too quick. It should take longer to scope in. It would have snipers more of a post up weapon instead of being good at any range. They also need to get rid of perks like quick draw on snipers and make the time it takes to switch to them a little longer. Almost like switch to a heavy.
