Halo Wars 2 - Release Plausible

I've been thinking about Halo Wars 2 and come to the conclusion that a release is possible. And even been thinking about a logical release date. Halo Wars was a great game, in my opinion the most entertaining RTS game out there. But when you come to think of it, it's not the gameplay that made it a huge success, it was for the fact that it was a Halo game. Now, if Halo Wars 2 was ever to be released, it would most likely be tied close to another Halo game release. I'm doubting we will see Halo Wars 2 as a "standalone", but rather Microsoft will build up on the Halo brand and get another hype started. So that they could maximize the potential in marketing success and sales. Halo Wars was released a between 2 big Halo titles, Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. Everyone was excited about Halo and even people who had never played RTS games bought Halo Wars just for the "Halo" untop. So, in my opinion. If we are ever going to see another Halo Wars title, it's going to be close to a release of another Halo title.

It sold poorly compared to the other Halo games and the majority of fans act like it never even existed. It has a very small cult following but a part from that the game under performed. By adding 'Halo' into the game, it generated extremely high expectation. So much so, that the game was destined to be die. The game probably would of performed better if it wasn't a Halo game, since no one would of expected it to live up to the previous Halo games. I hate to be negative but Halo should stay as an FPS. It really should be obvious why.
Halo Wars was a great game and a lot of people loved it. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean there shouldn't be another HW's game. I think it'd sell even more then last time. Btw, it was the best-selling console RTS. Just sayin'. And I hate to be negative, but Halo Wars was waaay better then Reach. It really should be obvious why.
Halo Wars is the most basic RTS at best. Have you actually played Starcraft 2? You'd be in for a reality check. If Halo Wars was loved by 'a lot of people' then why is game not in the top ten LIVE list. Last time I checked there were only 1000 people playing the game still. Meanwhile Halo: Reach is 3rd with at least 1 million players per week. Halo: Reach is the inferior game is it? Not according to the rest of the world. Also do you know why Halo Wars really was the 'best-selling console RTS', because it was called 'Halo' Wars. The only reason why Halo Wars sold so well was because Halo was in the name. If it wasn't Halo game then it would of undoubtedly tanked. Also 'best-selling console RTS' isn't exactly the greatest merit. RTS's generally don't sell much on consoles, so it isn't exactly a great record to achieve. Meanwhile Halo: Reach was the 3rd highest selling game of 2010 according to NPD. Halo Wars was a failure, both from a business sense but also among fans. There is only a small group of fans who actually liked the game, and an even smaller group of hardcore Halo Wars players who thought the game was the second coming of our lord and saviour. A sequel to Halo Wars would most likely tank, because of the majority of fans hated the original.
The majority of fans are not the smartest group. This is why countries has got a tiny population to run it while the rest can enjoy the stay.
