Do you want your character to speak in elder scrolls like fallout 4?

Lmao so many fallout 4 comments, we get it, you guys are sheep. Get over it. Now, for a reasonable response.. maybe. The voice acting redundancy that this thread has turned into has been pointed out a thousand times at this point. I will say that there are other methods of implementing voices into games. I have played many games that allow you to make your own character and edit the pitch and tone of your voice.. very simple shit.

Because in Fallout 4, I have a badass male character that has a terrifying backstory. The voice acting killed it. Made a female character after this. Made her mehh.. Mixed badass and gorgeous. Guess what? Voice acting ruined it.
-
No. I tried to be Big Boss in Fo4, but the voice acting ruined it.
-
I'd like to speak in any game
-
At this point I don't really care. Bethesda would rather create action games than a game with any semblance of RPG mechanics.

Fallout 4's dialogue was a far departure from the wit that defined the series. Coupled with the same dude's obnoxious ass voice. Gets me triggered every time
-
The downside to the character being able to speak in fallout was that you couldn't really get into the whole being evil thing. Not sure if that's been said because I haven't read any other comments...but yeah, there was something about the guys voice that just didn't lend itself to being a complete dick. He wasn't a bad voice actor by any means, it just kind of seemed like game pidgeonholed you into being a nice guy.

1 ReplyNo. Why? Because one of the biggest letdowns of Fallout 4 were the limited dialog option which were neccesary because the protagonist had a voice.
-
1 ReplyOnly if the male is voiced by Morgan Freeman.
-
I'd rather them spend more time with the rest of the game and make it higher quality than them spending all their resources for hundreds of thousands of sentences for 8 different races...
-
Nah, I don't want to hear a voice while I read text out loud in sarcastic tones
-
3 RepliesHave an option to enable or disable the voice
-
No, I like to pretend my character has the same voice I do.
-
It better have many different voices to choose from
-
That would be way more difficult than fallout's voice thing. All of the different races have different accents and voices
-
No. It was ok in Fallout, but kind of jarring tbh
-
I've never played any ES. Think I will give a shot to the next one and heard it's on Vinewood or something like that.
-
3 RepliesI doubt it will, they would have to have a voice for every race and gender
-
3 RepliesNo I didnt like how fallout 4 does that. It limits how I think my characters personality is and the game thinks differently. Also how would bethesda record everything with all the races?😂
-
as long as you can choose the voice
-
1 ReplyNo. It ruins the immersion.
-
2 RepliesI think it adds to the immersion, a non-voiced character can be a little weird.
-
Please no...i don't want it to suffer the same fate as fallout 4. I'd like some different voice options though just for the grunts and screams. My Nord in Skyrim didn't sound nearly manly enough to actually be a Nord
-
3 RepliesNo. The voice actors were pretty terrible and the writing wasn't much better to cover it. I live off sarcasm and their "sarcastic" options made me die a little on the inside.
-
Yes. And I want all male races to sound exactly like a middle aged, sarcastic white guy. Or a Troy Baker knock off. Realistically I don't care but they'd have to have a minimum of eight or ten voice actors simply for the PC. And I just don't see Bethesda doing that. We all know their track record on voice acting.
