Fake 335s who pretend they know how to raid.

2 RepliesI raided yesterday with two noobs who had never even killed the daughters before. Just totems and warpriest or golgoroth cp's on challenge weeks. Both were around 320 light and told that the were noobs up front. Any they were the ones who posted the group on lfg. Shocking right? I helped run them through got them through a fresh hard raid to the daughters where I had run relic twice and four of us killed the last Daughter while the two noobs were dead. When we got to Oryx we spent 10 minutes explaining not just their jobs but everyone's jobs and how the encounter works. First run we got to the third phase when the vessle took a hard left turn and sprinted straight at the bombs causing a wipe. Sadly after that we ran a few more less successful attempts and the raid fell apart. But hey they got some gear and exp. And next time may be able to finish the raid with what they learned. Just be honest kids and maybe you will get some help.

4 RepliesAlotta new guys to the hard raid last month or so. As a 100+ completionist, I say Welcome Aboard! Keep those raiders coming! We need the new guys to replace the old guys no longer raider. I like it, a lot of you new guys have been doing well picking up the mechanics. Our dps is taking longer than usually - but you're gettin' there.

People wonder why teammates are dying or why random things are alive that are supposed to be dead (ie: knights)... Ya... That's why. After an extremely shitty time raising last Tuesday with people who said they knew what they were doing... I'm (from now on) going to check stats for raid completions. The 2-8 mins it takes me to check people's stats(Grimoire cards) will still mean a raid completion of about an hour. Hell, I'll check stats in the first part while someone runs middle solo... Had a guy who said he had 200 kings fall completions last Tuesday... I called him on the bluff, checked his stats, he only had 2, and after calling him out, he left in shame

The biggest issue is the doughballs on LFG. They mistake high light level for actual skill level. Same as they did with Grimoire. 335 means that you were luck enough go get 335 gear. You can get to 335 without ever touching the raid.
