I think the problem is that many girls try to get the same bright shade that they have in many anime (this goes for pretty much any unusual colour), but it just doesn't work the same IRL. For the most part it has to be darker in the real world.

1 ReplyI don't know, I notice a lot of people don't care for the more...unnatural hair colors. It's still viewed as this semi-outlandish thing, but I think it's pretty cool and don't see anything particularly wrong with it. I probably would've dyed my hair more when I was younger and it was longer, but now i'm 21 and looking for a job in a field where i'm expected to look professional soooo, opportunity has passed. But i'd never do some crazy bright colors. Some people can pull that off, but i'm definitely not one of them.

I've seen one girl with pink hair who looked really good with it. But in general, I'd say it looks better in anime.
