white knight noun a person or thing that comes to someone's aid.
Looking at the definition, it isn't a bad thing. However, when people call someone a white knight, it's usually a person that defends only females & thinks that they deserve special treatment. Even if this girl is in the wrong, some guys will still continue to defend them Defending both men & woman when they need it = good. Demanding someone give a girl special treatment & defending her simply because of her gender = bad.

There are two kinds of White Knights: 1. Helps everyone 2. Only helps women in hopes of obtaining their friendship (or much more)

12 RepliesDepends on how you want to define it.Some people would say it's any guy who happens to defend a girl, which is not a bad thing. The kind of white knight you don't want to be is the kind that will defend only a female. If a male had the same opinion, this white knight would not back them up.This white knight is only being nice to women in the hopes of something more, not out of general human decency. Then there's the even worse white knight that women really don't like. This one persistently tries to fight a woman's battles for her without giving her the option to defend herself. It's irritating because the woman may have been having a friendly debate and this guy jumps in out of nowhere stating his opinion like he speaks for her.Women can speak for themselves. It's okay to back them up after they've answered, but don't answer for them.

It's someone who defends women on the Internet because they expect to actually get with the girl they defend. It's bad because they mostly do it so random women on the Internet will like them.
-
2 RepliesIt's racist against black knights
-
Because it's a person with extremely low self-esteem trying to manipulate women into liking them by being extra nice.
-
White Knights are those who defend (most of the time) women who are being ripped on for showing themselves off to get attention (ie: girls with controllers that aren't corresponding with their console.) They only defend women because they think that they'll actually get a serious relationship with them and/or have the girl as a friend. It's pathetic and just as insulting as calling the girl a bitch.

2 RepliesThey are these pussies who suck the happiness out of everything. They get offended on behalf of others (even if the people they are defending arent offended) and generally are the killjoy at every party
-
3 RepliesWell it gets thrown around when someone on the Internet defends someone who is a girl, most the time it's not bad to be one.
-
A pathetic beta who comes to the aid of a female, in the hopes that they can gain the affection of said female.

Someone who defends women for the sole purpose in the hopes they could get some

A lower form of shovel knight.
-
Colloquially it means a guy who defends women on the Internet. They do it in the hopes that maybe coming to a woman's aid will get them laid. It's pathetic and sad really
-
It's another word whose true definition is lost. Now it's a male who qualifies as a feminazi, other than that they're male. The two tend to work together rather often.

Because defending someone with no and/or complete disregard towards evidence is ridiculously stupid
