I've heard the traveler is damaged by Rasputin who hurt it from leaving, it that true? I don't know.

Rasputin did nuke it, but the Traveler was going to stand and fight this time.

No, the Traveller wasn't going to run. It wanted to stay and fight (See alpha lupi lore), but the "device" that belonged to FWC (which was in Rasputins hands) predicted it would run, so Rasputin nuked it. To summarize, the FWC device incorrectly predicted the travelers actions, causing Rasputin to nuke it. THE TRAVELLER WAS NOT ABOUT TO LEAVE
-
Agreed. My thoughts (read first spoiler) from another thread on this topic https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/193652802/0/0

Also the FWC wasnt even arround pre-collapse.
-
Yes it was, it always does, it always has, and it always will.
-
It has always run because it has always surrendered to utilitarian thought. The Dreams of Alpha Lupi however strongly imply that the Traveler had no intention of doing so with us. It has spent billions of years running, watching its children being annihilated. Its tired, and views humanity as its last and best hope to ever beat the Darkness. It was going to stand and fight with us regardless of Rasputin's actions.
-
Nope, read rasputin grimore No.5 Basicly says that should we face extinction and the traveler is going run that the warminds have the authority to force the traveler to stay and fight by any means deemed necisary. It then says that scans indicated the traveler was IN FACT preparing to leave. It is at this point that rasputin following orders cripples the traveler as a means of preventing the extinction of humanity.
-
Like I said, read Dreams of Alpha Lupi. The Traveler, in its own inner monologue, says it isn't/wasn't going to leave. Rasputin miscalculated its intent. Moving doesn't mean leaving.
-
But thats not the travelers monologue. If it was it would say dreams of the traveler, it wouldnt use a title given to another gaurdian.
-
Pretty sure it's the travelers thoughts/reflections about its actions upon planets and life forms.
-
Then why would it be in third person?
-
It's not in third person, it's the traveler addressing the various planets.
-
No, its -blam!-ing not lol, you to re-read that shit cause im honeslty not sure if your trolling or just retarded at this point.
-
Alpha Lupi is the Traveler, not a guardian.
-
Uh, do you even traveler grimiore?
