When you use Three of Coin in P.O..E 41& 42, the exotic drops goes to your teammate instead of the person that used the Three of Coins. I personally have lost over 15 exotic drops to others. I am sure they appreciate me using my coin and gaining weapons without me knowing why or what was happening, but it does not benefit me. Most of my matches are pick up games, so I do not even know these players.
We tested it out yesterday...my teammate popped several Three of Coins during our runs. When got done each match, one of our other teammates who did not use any coins, got 3 exotic drops.
This needs to be addressed immediately.

1 ReplyI have the same issue .. I used almost 30 of 3oc and got nothing so i just stopped using them coz its just a waste on nothing.

1 ReplyU didnt get any exotics nor did you lose it to someone else. Its all rng. Even a peraon that didnt use 3 of coins still have a chance for an exotic (at a smaller ratio).

You know you don't HAVE to use a 3oC to get an exotic, right? They just help your chances. It's all very possible they just RNG'ed an exotic on the run.

2 RepliesI don't claim to know what is happening in your specific case, but it is human nature to see patterns where none actually exist. I use 3oC before all activities, including PoE, and I play 99% solo, but I have not noticed any irregular results during PoE. I hope what you suspect to be happening is not happening...

There has been no reports of this issue happening before. Unfortunately, if your friends were receiving Exotic Engrams, it is because they were using Three of Coins. Your Three of Coins weren't being stolen from you. Unfortunately, you not receiving any Exotic Engrams was just bad luck, as it is all RNG. (Random)

No, that's not how it works. I've gotten several exotics from both by using my own 3 of Coins. At the end of Challenge of elders, there's a chance for an exotic so maybe he just got really lucky. One person using a 3 of Coin DOES NOT grant an exotic to someone else.
