Why 3 shots for golden gun?

A sunbreaker can throw at least 5 hammers, but could be up to 7. A stormcaller lasts forever and can shred 7-10 opponents easily (oh, and is nearly impossible to run away from unless you're already on the other side of the map). And a golden gun gets 3 bullets. Why? Why shouldn't the golden gun last the entire duration of the super, or alternatively, not have a time limit if limited to 3 shots?

  • BC a gg shot has like unlimited distance and takes less then a sec to hit his target and if used right you get 3 easy kills. St you have to be close close to get kills. Sure they do seem hard up close but when far away they don't do so well and gg would win that battle and has a chance upclose if you hear it coming. Hos is great for close and far but takes a lot more time to hit target from afar. Gg would most likely win a battle with a hos. Gg might seem limited to only 3 kills but they should be easy kills even when going up against other supers

  • Huntard supers are the most broken bs. Unlimited range OHK, spam blink BD, shutdown any super with another panic super. Gtfoh

    • Because GG is a OHK at unlimited range. Hammers have to be thrown accurately, and they can be dodged easily, and you have tog et up close to do any damage because of the damage falloff. Stormcaller is annoyingly long, but it's vulnerable enough mid-super that it's not a big deal. You also have to get really up close to do any damage.

        • Gunslinger was definitely a pvp class. But exotic helm celes night hawk makes it viable in pve. I love it as a pve pvp class. But its more pvp effective. Also depending on player and build set up.

            • Because it has no arc. No travel time. Almost no range limits. Is kept in first person. Has huge hitboxes. And 1 shot kills everything except a FoH while unstoppable is on, which is a very rare situation. And it doesn't take super energy with each shot. And you can get it a full minute quicker because of Gunfighter. It's quite well balanced as is. Tho it does suffer from the same thing as every other super: it needs a PVE damage buff. #TitanMasterRace

              • Because we can drop absolutely anything (in PvP) with those 3 shots. It sucks for PvE, but I guess they didn't want a super star destroyer in PvP.

              • I haven't really played with GG that much since TTK. Did they nerf the subclass? Talking more so about combustion, I don't feel like it's as strong as it used to be.

                  • If anything I feel golden gun should be buffed somehow. I get how it's a one shot kill, but realistically it's really short in duration, way to easy to shut down, 1 to 3 kills max, where as others easily get 3 plus, let's be real here.

                    • Golden gun needs to last longer when you're not shooting, I can't say how many times I've wasted my super because it was a large map or many obstacles. Even if they added 5 seconds to it, it's still easy to evade and run from it and super easy to kill it

                    • Golden gun is one of the most balanced supers. Very powerful and very easy to shut down. Does not need a buff at all.

                      • Every super is build to get between 1-3kills every time you use them right. Thats why you get 3 shots. Having trouble getting 3 kills, learn how to aim or time your GG better.

                      • Because each shot is a guaranteed kill unless you really have a hard time aiming. The curved path of a hammer makes it a bit more difficult to land every throw, so you need more hammers to compensate.
