Shotgunning isn't "Easy": Anyone claiming this is a bit lost
Yes. Aiming the gun is easy
Yes. The range can be annoying
Yes. Almost anyone can use it effectively from day 1
But being a GOOD shotgunner isn't easy. Top tier shot gun players have immense skills in movement, pressuring opponents, and split second decision making.
I'm not defending shotgunners because I am one. Most people who know me, know that I snipe 99% of games. But it's kind of bullshit to discredit the skill set of another player.
I personally find using shotguns effectively very hard due to my passive nature, so when people make the statement that they take "no skill"... well I must just suck really bad. Right?

[i]*Loads TX-130 Saber-Tank lazer round*[/i] My friend is actually a [b][i]GOOD[/i][/b] shotgunner. I have zero idea how he does it, but him with a shotgun and sticky gernades is a monster in the Crucible. He says the major thing that helps him get close to his oppenent is knowing the maps by heart. Of course there are maps that he doesnt know that well so he snipes until he learns all of the sniper spots on the map so he can easily outplay snipers. It is honestly quete scary to watch.
