So I've been sitting on this for a while now and I think bungie has finally completely come out and said that the Titans are their master race via the creation of the twilight garrison. This has given out a clear advantage to a single class, personally by bungie themselves. How you may ask, because it fabricates an extra skill that does not restrict the users skill tree and adds strength to its already strong 'weakness' (agility). For most exotics, they force you to use a certain subclass and a certain perk, but twilight garrison does not. You can use it on any Titan subclass with any combination of perk you so desire. This is an extremely unfair advantage. Let's talk about the chest piece itself now. It's faster, further, more effect and less disorientating to the user than blink or shade step. Which are both perks of the warlock and hunter, given for their lack of armor or agility (which the Titan lacks I neither). In fact, if you choose the blink option, you're actually casting off the option to utilize more recovery. I digress. Now, let's just imagine that warlocks and hunters were awarded a free perk from an exotic that strengthens their weaknesses. What if warlocks had shoulder piece that gave them juggernaut. They'd storm in and melee you into the dirt every time. Think, what would happen if a hunter had the ability to shoulder charge. Scary. That what we got when Titans are using shoulder charge and evading, or thermal vent and evading and using twilight garrison on a defender is even scarier. Let's make it simpler to describe how op this is. What if the ram worked on all warlock subclasses or the gravitation forfeit on all hunter subclass? Exactly, insane. What's even more wrong is how much more effective twilight garrison is compared to blink or shade step. It's sickening. And we ALL know the only reason this happened was because of all the Titan crying that sunbreaker didn't blink. Get over it. It would have broke pvp, just like twilight garrison is now. Thanks again bungie for wrecking everything. I hate how op warlock were at the moment, but honestly, it was their turn. But you always go right back to shining the spotlight on them Titans, don't you? You're little destiny Master Chiefs.
One last thing, the video is just to inform people who are ignorant to the existence of twilight garrison, how it works and even Titans staking, which also is a huge advantage on Titans. Let me know how you feel about this insanity.

This kid... Titans have an advantage... Your funny bro

Trump and his wall

Meh, I still feel like titans are the weakest PvP class overall.

It's too ugly to wear though, will stick with Armentarium.

1 ReplyWords cannot describe how good this post is. Numbers can. 3/10

Tl.dr He hates twilight garrison and is taking to the forums to get it nerfed...
-
I never even use the thing, get over yourself. Bungie favors no one but their pocket books and bank accounts.

Omfg... wall of text. No punctuations, no paragraphs. Was a chore just to read through. Bungie does not favor Titans. They favor no class, just because Titan get a good exotic that isn't confined to just one subclass (*cough* Bones of Eao *cough*) doesn't mean they are favored.

2 Repliesevade, blink and these abilitys are for scrubs. sorry. shot your opponents. kill them. do not try to avoid thier shots. every second counts and to try to avoid a confrontation in a pvp mode is just hilarious senseless

Not as BS as shadowstep

1 ReplyCrybaby and textwall Leave this place already you foul beast

2 Repliestitans are a subclass.. not a "race"..

3 RepliesYup. Titans are Bungie's master race when Warlocks have blink and hunters have blink and shade step. Titans need to use an exotic slot just to have a mobility perk.
makes sense
1 ReplyDid you get Mexico to pay for that wall of text?......

Yeah sure. Titans are fav. I mean by recently making subreakers virtually unplayable in PvP, while warlocks are immune to nerfs
-
Ya I hate it so much

13 RepliesEdited by Kana, Rogue Kobold: 5/17/2016 4:50:39 PMA few things... first, there is this new thing called "starting a new paragraph." More people would take your post seriously if you used it. I am going to fix this for you and hide it behind the spoiler because your post is painful to look at. One last thing, the video is just to inform people who are ignorant to the existence of twilight garrison, how it works and even Titans staking, which also is a huge advantage on Titans. Let me know how you feel about this insanity.
Secondly, I question if you even understand your own argument. There are a few points you bring up that make me question this, so let's take this one by one because I want to give each point I am about to point out enough space to be explained why it is faulty logic. "It's faster, further, more effect and less disorientating to the user than blink or shade step." As a career hunter, there are two things accurate in this statement, and only just. Yes, it is faster than Shadestep by roughly 1 second. Yes, it is less disorienting than Blink since you do not experience a "white out" moment when activated. No, it does not travel further than Shadestep OR Blink and actually travels the shortest overall distance of the mobility skills by a sizable margin. No, it does not have more effect than Shadestep or Blink as they all have two uses before the effect goes on CD and cannot be used again for a period of time. Moving on to the next point: "You can use it on any Titan subclass with any combination of perk you so desire. This is an extremely unfair advantage. " In reality, it isn't. Running a striker, Twilight Garrison is exceptionally powerful since you can keep a shoulder charge window active while playing the class to its design as a highly aggressive combatant. As for Defender, I question if Twilight Garrison is actually a viable option for them. They gain maneuverability, possibly making up for their general lack of speed due to the class favoring staying power (Armor and Recovery) over Agility. However, I believe that No Back Up Plans and Armamentarium are actually better suited to Defender than Twilight Garrison. No Back Up Plans gives you a non-melee trigger for Force Barrier while also increasing its duration, creating new ways for Defender to be utilized defensively in exchange for limiting their special weapon to a shotgun of some variety. Armamentarium gives them a second Magnetic/Suppression Grenade, either allowing them to end any 1v1 engagement with little effort (Magnetic) or giving them more control of the flow of battle (Suppression). Additionally, both grenades are recovered if you active Ward of Dawn, so there is that aspect to consider. As for Sunbreakers, I can't say I've encountered a lot of Sunbreakers who actively want to use this in PvP even though it would actually make sense. Added mobility to easily the most mobile-focused Titan class should be a match made in heaven. Sadly, this is all based on how you want to play. Unlike Strikers, Twilight Garrison provides no synergy to a Sunbreaker. Their design is around that close-to-mid-close range where Armamentarium would actually be better (Double Fusion Games) as it improves their neutral game performance. Lastly, let's focus on the more glaring point here: "Now, let's just imagine that warlocks and hunters were awarded a free perk from an exotic that strengthens their weaknesses. What if warlocks had shoulder piece that gave them juggernaut. They'd storm in and melee you into the dirt every time. Think, what would happen if a hunter had the ability to shoulder charge. Scary." You see, the problem with Hypotheticals happens to be that they depict situations that wouldn't normally happen. People think that the powerful "What if..." argument cannot be beaten, but the truth is that they are purely illogical and designed to prey on insecurities and fears to sway people instead of being reflective of the truth. There is no exotic that gives Warlocks Juggernaut. There is no exotic that gives Hunter Shoulder Charge, which wouldn't even work since Hunters have the fewest build options to actually get the armor levels that would make this worth doing. The sad truth is that most perks wouldn't work well with other classes simply because they require a specific amount of attributes to back that up and most classes can't meet those attribute requirements. You made your views on this exotic very clear, but they are not based in any amount of truth. When you take the slant out of them, they fall apart. Twilight Garrison is not an exotic without its flaws and, like any exotic, is very powerful in the right hands.

Are you joking? If anything it's a waste of an exotic slot 😂

Dude relax. Every class has thier specialties. There are plenty of very powerful abilities that titans don't have.

But most don't wear it because the look..I think they balanced it ..I'll keep my iron banner chest ..I admit I'm sure it adds a lot of gameplay options ..but I didn't sign on as a crew member on a fishing boat..
