Why do Queen's Wrath rewards drop at Y1 levels?
Edit: A better title would have been, "Why wasn't the Queen's Wrath ranking/reward system brought forward?"
I was really excited to pick up my rewards from Petra for ranking-up in Queen's Wrath. Needless to say that I was pretty disappointed when I received a 160 pulse rifle.
So Bungie, why didn't you update the Queen's Wrath rewards? Seems like a missed opportunity to increase weapon diversity and possibly balance.

They never updated Petra, as they gave queens rewards to Variks' Poe challenge mode. Sucks that there's absolutely no point for Petra other than for newer players.....

Because this was a stop gap patch never an intended full game update.

I assume because the year 1 game is still for sale despite being made obsolete. And only three people work on Y1&2 content, that includes Cozmo and Deej!

8 RepliesThe April Update focused on the Prison of Elders, which is an event that yields House of Judgement rep.... not Queen's Wrath rep... I know they are both in the reef, but something is better than nothing. I mean, seriously... We were given something to refresh the Destiny experience, even if it was a small amount of content. The community needs to realize that Bungie does the things it wants to do (foolish or not) and no amount if bitching is going to change that.

1 ReplyTTK drops, non-TTK players complain about being locked out of content. TTK players then complain about pre-TTK content being left in for non-TTK players... Bungie can't win, can they? The April update quite literally throws gear at you, even if you don't want any of it. Petra's rep packages are not a big deal.

They should add Chasing Infinity to the Queen's Wrath packages. I'd actually bother ranking it up if there was a chance to get that ship.

They didn't update her because she and her weapons were "OP" and would have messed up "balance" in ToO. So they decided instead they would bestow upon us nerfs to ammo and revives because they were SERIOUSLY "OP"!!!! *makes wanking motion and rolls eyes*
