Tired of "Exposure & Trickle" on Nightfall
Taking away Guardian abilities AND Guardian shields is not a modifier. It is a game-breaking deficit that decreases enjoyment.
It's lazy.
Stop doing it.

People need to just stop doing nightfalls, they take too long, are not fun and give crappy sub light level rewards.........bungie will change them really quick if no one plays them

3 RepliesThe worst part is when you go to do the Nightfall, both your buddies quit after several failures and you then proceed to solo it.. ..and get 20 Strange Coins. Like, the hell is that crap? I just went 1v1 with a Taken Archon Priest and his legion of Axion Dart-spamming, invulnerability-projecting, self-duplicating jackass friends.. and I got enough Strange Coins for a burger and a coke from Xur. That's not acceptable. If you're giving out Strange Coins or Motes of Light for a Nightfall, it need to be at least 50 to even be close to worth your time.

22 RepliesSunbreaker with simmering flames. Somewhat counters trickle. Sunsinger with brimstone/solar wind. Stormcaller with perpetual charge... Any weapon with grenadier, army of one, somewhat counteracts trickle. Telesto, opportunity to poop orbs everywhere... Bad Juju, Zhalo... There are ways to work around the modifiers. Sorry if your cookie cutter loadout gets set aside for a bit.

There are 2 types of modifiers, one that helps and one that hinders! That being said, i think a cool idea would be to give us control of the ones that help. For example, in the nightfall, theres two slots for modifiers that hinder and two for ones that help. The two that hinder are filled by bungie but the two that help we can apply however we see fit. You give us rep boosters, why not give us modifiers?! If the nightfall gives me grounded i can put on airborne, if i have it in my inventory, to counter it! Just an idea!

Exposure I am fine with and can work around, but when you have a nightfall that doesnt have any burns on it thats is when it is anti fun.

Just did that one. That was tedious as -blam!-. Found myself pinned in the corner for most of the boss fight because of those ticking fart bomb throwing Captains. Received 3oCs. I think I'll pass on that next time. I miss old NF.

The modifiers make it a pain in the a$$ to do, I can live with that, but when garbage rewards drop after grinding through this STUPID combination of modifiers. THAT'S NOT OK!!!!!!!!!! If your going to make the nightfall an end game level mission, common sense says the rewards should be the same. Here's a hint Ghost shells, emotes, and sparrow horns are not acceptable rewards!!!!!

Well it was obviously going to have shit modifiers on the strike people want the shotgun from but its a -blam!-ing hard strike to begin with forget exposeure & trickle. They just didnt want people farming for it. Play their way not yours.

What sucks the most is going through that annoying bs just to get crappy rewards. I did fallen saber and got a horn kit. LMAO WTF!!

Ditto about taking away Guardian's Ammo. If you want us to die repeatedly playing your content, then nobody will play. Stop micromanaging our gaming experience and let us just have fun! So long as it is not a glitch exploit, just let us do things our way.

Agreed, except I honestly don't know or care if it lazy, necessarily- it just sucks, though. Fun should be the primary goal, and difficulty after that.

1 ReplyI always thought of the nightfalls as much more fun than normal strikes because of elemental burns and things like Specialist. It's way more fun, but Exposure and Trickle completely take all of that away from it for me.
