Alpha Lupi Exotic is "Broken" Due to Recent Tweaks Involving Reviving Teammates

Firstly, I'd like to say that almost I never question the balance of an exotic. Where the toxicity of Exotics and the differing opinions on how they are useful or not conflict, I always see the whole being differences in playstyles. That said, the recent patch affected the Alpha Lupi set so badly, that it has no justification for. Let's rewind the clocks back before this patch in question. The Crest of Alpha Lupi (and the Warlock equivalent) had a very stable place in exotic gear. Which is a shock considering all the controversy over how useless or useful all other exotics to this time get; and the Alpha Lupi has been in game since Day 1. Alpha Lupi was a well balanced support Exotic (which we don't have much of), granting faster revives for the wearer and an additional orb upon super use. As the additional orb didn't really do much, the advantage the Alpha Lupi pieces granted was that the decreased revive time allowed for allies to be revived without breaking the flow of combat. Allowing a teammate to sprint past a downed ally - and revive her/him - without worrying about suffering a similar fate by breaking their momentum. This tactic was an asset, and it is what held the Alpha Lupi in such a position all this time. The recent update did nothing to the Alpha Lupi directly. Instead, it overall increased revive time and decreased the radius a teammate had to be to revive a fallen teammate (it also did a few other things not really relevant to this topic: IE - Decreasing Over-shields granted, and though I have grievances with the entire revive nerf.. that's not what is pissing me off the most). Without compensating the Alpha Lupi for this adverse effect, the user is now forced to stop in the heat of the moment to revive their teammate and put themselves in great risk to being downed as well. This completely negates the purpose of the Alpha Lupi, as it was never the time that was it's strength. Momentum is vital in the heat of battle, and the Alpha Lupi' allowed it's users to maintain their momentum. This can not be stressed enough. All that said, a simple fix would be to further increase the revive speed or increase the radius the user can revive and be revived while wearing it back to what it was. EDIT - 5/10/16 - Upon making this post, I had not realized how abused the sprint rez tactic had become in PvP, particularly in Trials of Osiris. My complaints of the new Alpha Lupi' are for PvE, for a less competitive and potentially less hostile play experience.

Ideally no exotic really should be left without a solid niche, and I don't remember the exact numbers but if using alpha lupi now doesn't make reviving like it was before without using it, then I think buffing it to that point is very reasonable. But it's not like it doesn't work anymore, just not as well. Thing is, though, reviving was way too easy before - you didn't even need to stop moving. Dying should cost you something, not be an inconvenience.
