After finally branching off from my usual pvp builds, I decided to go for all nine subclass emblems. Most of it is easy, but I'm having some trouble getting grenade kills on my nightstalker and stormcaller? And tips to knock these parts of the quests out quickly and easily?
And before someone says do them the same way I did smoke kills, that part of the quest is bugged and it counted killing PVE adds.
Edit: thank you to all the helpful replies. Here's hoping for a mayhem 6v6 tomorrow.

Wait until mayhem clash or control is the weekly. I was able to polish off a bunch of void grenade kills with my Hunter that way. Now I'm waiting for it to come back so I can do the shadow show multi kills.

Play Rift When people are grabbing rift, throw a wombo combo(lead with smoke than grenade) that will make it so the grenade kills them. I used Vortex. Good luck

Control or rift Throw them in zones being capped or at the spark When I did them I think I used storm and voidwall It can take time though, as you can have a game with 3-4 grenade kills and then get none the next 5 games

I have all 9 emblems and all I can say is... take advantage of mayhem

Can't speak for other classes, but as a Nightstalker, for pvp grenade kills, you want to go Mayhem crucible with the quick melee/nade uptime and perk for Lockdown+Vortex Grenade+Envenomed. In this mode, you can go the extra step and go for sealed Ahakamas + Monte Carlo. If Mayhem isn’t your thing, Zone Control is great too for multiple kills.

Edited by Dahm: 5/10/2016 2:13:57 AMShoot then grenade Sniper body to an arc bolt is easy enough Nightstalker.....that's gonna be tricky I'd say vortex grenades on control... Many dumb players will stand in the grenade and burn to death while going for a cap

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 5/10/2016 2:12:52 AMGrenade kills with Nightstalker are tricky. They're mostly used to control your opponents' movements and weaken them. If you want to piss people off, you can catch them in smoke first, but you'll also use up your melee and you need to have enough time to safely throw both (despite all the whining, that's tougher than it sounds). I like using Voidwall the best. It's weak, but it covers a lot of area. It's perfect for forcing people out of cover or getting them flee a control zone. Throw it next to them when they're hiding and the flames should go right under them.

2 RepliesFirst and most important step is not to rely on grenades for kills but rather weakening oponents or potentially killing oponents that are already weak.
