What's your opinion on fusion rifles?
Today I was playing a match of rumble, and as I was tearing through opposing guardians, I couldn't decide if timing the shot right and having dude directly in my sights was skill, or if fusion rifles are just a strong crutch. What do you guys think??

Speaking as a PVP scrub, I love fusions. They're a satisfying way to deal with less than skilled shotgun rushers. I had a match in the last IB with a plus 3 KD and I pretty much mained my Ashraven's Flight in it. Mind, when I run into the majority of people who are better than me I kind of get [i]wrecked[/i] using them...

They are currently fun and rewarding to use.

I like the spot they are in now. Very satisfying to use in PvP and PvE. Only if Sidearms could get some love now.

1 ReplyIt takes skill and they aren't op You're playing in easy mode lobbies right now so people just stand there or blindly arun around corners and take the full blast to the chest lol Its not so easy in my lobbies. They require a lot of map awareness, anticipation of the enemy's movement, good aim, having the charge time nailed down, leading shots.... Practice with them and get good, they're really satisfying

3 RepliesOnly a few are over powered. So overpowered that I'm addicted to mine. Ever since I picked it up it's been extremely difficult to get back to sniping. I laugh during crucible watching everyone on the other team disintegrating from auto rifle distance, because it's so damned OP. I looooove them!

I think they're in a pretty ok spot right now. Like any other weapon, a lot has to do with finding the right rolls. Stability perks and accelerated coils are pretty standard for me for fusions.

3 RepliesI feel like a lot of my shots at point blank range miss or skim my enemy in PVP, so I mostly chalk it up to lag. But really, sometimes I REALLY feel like I should've killed them but nope, they just took me down with a shotgun

Some could use a bit less recoil And a few need a range adjustment Some perks just suck for fusions but some perks just suck period
