Not really man. Say you take a team of .8 k/d players into ToO. They get a win. Well guess what. The 1.5 k/d team can also get a single win. So at 1 win for both the .8s now fight the 1.5s and get slaughtered. That's how it goes for a lot of people. In reality only the 1st and last match of ToO are even.

Then they shouldn't play with people with twice their kd...
-
That's what he's saying... There's not a choice because of the way trials is set up. Unless you're a top tier player you're going to run into people with much higher K/Ds than you. He wants that fixed.
-
If he's playing with people with higher skill what did he expect? There's sbmm and bungie isn't removing it
-
Trial is matched up by wins on the card man. I play with people of my level and we still run into pros. At 1-2 wins on the card.
-
That's weird, when I went on my friends account to get him flawless I was playing horrible people. But when I switched back to my own account the sweatfest started right away.
-
At that point your luck is just balls. Most I made it this weekend was 5 wins before the sweats showed up. I played a match where two dudes handled my whole team that was with 1 win on the card. I have just under a 1 k/d on all my chars. If it really is sbmm there is no way I should have played them.
-
Well my global KD at this point is like 1.98, it used to be 2.03 but the very heavy and laggy SBMM did drop it down a tiny bit. In Trials my KD's are 2.03 and if I'm correct because I can't check right now as it only shows my Hunter. 2.15+ for my Warlock and like 1.9 for my Titan. And the first 2 games are always really easy then the match for the 5th win to get the armor piece is extremely sweaty. After that I start playing people with a 1.5 KD and up and still wreck them because I do play with really good people. And then on the last win we usually face 2.0+ KD people which is fun but really laggy most of the time.
-
Lmao wish I was as good as you.
-
I just found the exact KD's, My Hunter is 2.03, my Titan is a bit higher than I said at 1.97 and my Warlock dropped down to 2.11 so not bad. However I don't really want to say that I'm extremely good at crucible. I like to think of myself as slightly above average and keep it that way. I put over 2000 hours in this game and a lot of that is in crucible because it's always been fun. It's starting to get less fun with SBMM tho. I used to be able to just play for fun and still do okay but now if I just play for fun I'll get my ass handed to me by the people who do want to try hard like their lifes depend on it.

Edited by thunderghoul: 5/9/2016 7:36:29 AMLol you have more hours than me by a couple days. I rarely see people with hours like ours. And I wish it was skill based in trials honestly. I have fun in regular crucible control, elimination, all of it. It's when I get to trials and fight sweats my first round that upsets me. I get that it's competitive gameplay but competitive means that you compete, not go get wrecked first round. Like boxing and mma weight classes. You're not throwing the little dude to the behemoths.

Sbmm would put me against a bunch of americans which will make the matches laggy and not competitive at all.
-
I'm American and most of my clan is from Europe. I rarely have internet issues.
-
It's annoying when I'm playing with a full team of people from the Netherlands or UK against a full team of people from the US. And those games are always really laggy.
-
Everyone's gonna run into pros, that's something with trials, the pro players play it
mind blown right?
-
Lmao you're being a cocky prick man. He's giving ideas. Contribute or leave no one asked you to be here. Yes everyone will run into pros, I'm not denying that. And I don't think they should be segregated from the playlist but the fact that your claiming "sbmm" and using the term like it applies in trials means you don't even know how the matchmaking for the game type works, when challenged you default to sarcasm cause you know you're wrong. Crucible has sbmm so why can't trials, that's all OP is getting at.

U stupid

I try ;)

Not enough

Well if you called me stupid I think it's the perfect amount.
