ldr 5001 vs 1000 yard stare ?
simple stats of both snipers, without any specific roles, which one is better for pvp and pve?

Used my ldr for a week, got a better longbow. Used that for a week, realized I liked my 1k better. Use my 1k religiously

Depends on your skill level but both are very good in PVP with ambush scopes. They can both roll with the perk that makes precision kills cause the target to explode so theyd but good in PvE also. It all depends on what you like and how you play.

1 ReplyI tore it up in iron banner with my ldr. But.... In trials yesterday, I was dead before I got a shot off just about every time. I might pull the old 1kys out of the vault for next week.

For pvp I've been using the dead orbit sniper. Has kind of a zoomed iron sight on it. And it still rez snipes On my hunter

10 RepliesBased on stats alone, 1KYS has more aim assist and faster equip time. So for sweaty matches, probably 1KYS. Plus 1KYS is a lot easier to obtain or grind for rather than the ridiculous RNG of Vanguard reward Packages. I haven't recieved a single Longbow or LDR yet. I've ranked up my Vanguard about 9 times and my Crucible over 25 times. Shaxx thinks I need those sweet boots and gauntlets.
