As a cod competitive player there is nothing more i like than competitive gaming but what I don't understand is why people in crucible are losing weight due to sweating buckets of sweat game after game. My stats are not the best since I don't try my ass off or even use my scuf controller when I play destiny but dam! Don't get me wrong im in no way salty but it does fascinate me to see so many try hards in crucible. If there were leaderboards or an official in game ranking system id understand but clearly there isn't. I really do feel and for those who can't hold their own and have to deal with the sweat fest crucible has become.

Honestly it ruins the fun when it comes to matchmaking. You're not supposed to fight opponents your skill level every match but at the same time you shouldn't be stomping pubs 24/7. SBMM can't be in a game that uses P2p, it causes horrible lag attempting to match you with opponents within your similair skill. Lastly you don't get better fighting against similair skilled players and you don't get better getting stomped every match. You need to fight people who are better than you but not to the point in which you stand no chance against them. You know there's an issue when highly skilled players(not me) find trials easier then the crucible.

2 RepliesThe only sweaty crucible I've played is trials and that's par for the course. Any sweat generated during normal crucible is my own doing. I don't play to win though, I just play to have fun and get as many ridiculous looking highlight kills as possible. Yep, that's me. 1 kill 10 death man. Better believe that one kill was epic though. O searched the whole game for my moment.
-
Lol so now that they use SBMM people cry how every match is sweaty? Where is the fun in playing against people that are too easy?
-
Bad perspiration, blocked pores ? No idea i perfer a greek shower everyday half a can of deoderant. Just my opinion - self muted -
-
Each to their own. Personally I never try too hard except in the fun department.
-
1 ReplyIts this logic. People will always equip the best stuff or the stuff they find themselves experienced with (Its the reason why I chose to use TLW despite the Hawkmoon meta) because its the most efficient tools for us to winning a combat
-
I think it is because of SBMM
-
I wish I had an answer to your question, but I don't. I hate it when so many players approaches a normal crucible match like a trials match.
-
1 ReplyGo back too CoD then, and btw just because someone is good at the game doesn't mean they sweat. It just means THEY ARE GOOD AT THE GAME
-
If you played sports growing up, you're probably competitive my nature. Isn't that how everyone is raised? To compete to be better and do better. But yeah why would people wanna be competitive and beat other people, that's not nice!
-
2 RepliesI feel like the kids that sweat their hardest in this game, they are cute. Like in a regular crucible match going all meta and just trying their hardest. Its like they're the rejects of competitive games that you can actually win real money in and get sponsorships. What I'm saying is the games where "playing to win" goes beyond a 3rd party ranking system... they're the rejects of those so they need to go somewhere like a casual game to try to feel elite.

For a broken ass game like destiny a 1.70 kd is great. So many sweatys will be found.
-
Idk. It's not like they are being paid or are winning anything important.
-
There are ranking leaderboards, destiny tracker and another one I forgot about. Plus sweating your way through victory in crucible is the same as sweating on millions of 10-18 year olds on COD.
-
2 RepliesI wanna make a couple points here. The first, the term you are looking for is sweaty, not try hard. Try hard means that you are trying to succeed at something, which means every single gamer that has ever existed in the history of ever, is a try hard. Secondly, what you see is not their sweating gameplay, 90% of the time. Rather what you see is their normal, average gameplay. It's not like their gonna force themselves to stand in the way of bullets just cuz their not sweaty their asses off. But, because you suck, their laid back gameplay looks like they are sweating. If you were to face a sweaty player in full sweat mode, you'd definitely know it. #TitanMasterRace

Because Lord Shaxx is cheqp & refuses to turn up the A/C! Damn cheap bastard! Then afterwards, everyone wants to wipe their faces off on my cloak, like I am a walking towel rack! I have to SLEEP in that when I am out on patrol & then it smells like sweaty Titan & Warlocks! How I wish my IB cloak was 100% chain mail, then I would love to see everyone wipe the sweat & half their faces off with it.....well, Titans probably still would, I have heard they use chainmail for TP, so they can probably handle that.... Oh & heaven forbid we have a group of Solar ability players in there, then it gets even hotter!!! I will tell you right now, for the fourth sub-class, we better have an Ice related sub-class or I am going to shove a Golden Gun up a certain Lord's backside so he can feel the burn!

2 RepliesSkill based matchmaking, bro. Honestly, until I get matched up against a full fireteam of hall-scopers (thankfully very rarely), I'm enjoying myself. Most of my matches are really close, with total blowouts and Mercy Rules sprinkled in. Of course, I'm definitely not in the higher skill tiers, where I imagine it's like Trials all the time. Good lord...that's gotta be brutal.
-
Maybe the ac is malfunctioning
-
Ive never understood this. Whats the point in playing a game without trying to win? Me and my bros goof off sometimes and do a 6 man firing line with no land but if we arent purposely trying to be funny, im trying to win. I dont know any other way to play other than stand still and let you shoot me.
-
1 ReplyI naturally have sweaty palms sooooooo....
-
I assume they're sitting in a warm room.
-
No a/c in our suits 😥😥😥
-
1 ReplyIt's addiction. They need that win to validate their self worth so they can continue to play the game in the name of fun.
-
that's bc you are playing vs people with the same mindset as you
-
you're preaching to the choir...
-
1.7 kd is why lol. I have a 1.3 and I thought my games were sweaty. I feel bad for you man, i bet you cant get into a game without seeing dop, tlw or mida
