First off, Destiny is an RPG frist; shooter second.
Secondly, going with the whole RPG thing, have you ever heard the term grind?
Any and all RPGs have grind and you find a way to minimize it so you can get it done fast.
Lastly, you are complaining about how people don't play the strikes your way.
Don't you see the irony in this?

Also thats not a proper use of irony.

Destiny is in no way an RPG. This is why even Bungie describe it as a "shared world shooter".
-
How is it not a "Role Playing Game"?
-
How is it? You just go places and shoot stuff. Your Guardian is functionally mute and has no option to interact with anyone. RPGS allow you to develop your characters personality, not just their perk tree. Just because Destiny has levelling concepts it doesn't make it an RPG.
-
Destiny is not linear. You can play the game how you what to play it - there is no set path to follow. You can customize your Guardian however you want. You can (slighty) interact with the world the way you want to.
-
That doesn't make it an RPG. At most that makes it a customisable sandbox game. Compare Destiny to something like Skyrim. There your interactions with NPCS have a lasting effect on how they (and others) treat you. Destiny has some RPG elements but it's certainly not an RPG.
