Also you can see in the community focus almost every week that those players are all saying they would like to see custom games! Bungie never replies to them though... It's super annoying at this point, there should always be that option in any video game.

I was disappointed when I loaded up destiny in September of 2014 and couldn't find an option to face my friends in custom games. It was something I expected to be there after being a huge halo fan. Destiny could be something to take seriously with custom games. More data could be drawn from user tests and clan battles could put destiny on the forefront of competitive multiplayer.

It's especially ridiculous considering that this is something that's been standard in multiplayer games since at least the xbox, and that Bungle, of all people, were the ones to turn it into a standard. Even before that, it could be done on PS2.
