Private lobbies are something I too really want to see in Destiny. It's on the Community Wish list and I will continue to push for it. Thanks for continuing to be vocal that this is something that you would really like to see added.

Been there since 2014.
-
This "been on the wish list since 14" could get trending lol. Transmog- "I've been on the wish list for a long time." Custom games- "I've been on the wish list since nam"
-
Transmog is from CEO days.
-
I've notice a lot of the simpler things ok the wish list were implemented. Nothing to impact gameplay. Just the stuff to let us collect more loot (to keep us on the hamster wheel) and other minor tweaks. There hasn't been anything impactful on the game unless we're talking about sparrow racing.
-
It's old but still applicable lol..
-
But hasn't it been there since like yr1 day1?

Edited by fibeto: 5/9/2016 2:38:57 AMCustom games have not been in the game ever. Edit: I see what you meant now. My bad

Just tell them we are not getting til destiny 2
-
Cozmo, I have two words for you "Faction Wars," okay a clash match with 12 guardians. The teams are split into 3 sets of 4, once the lobby is full the match will make the teams according to what Factions the players currently support, even if there are players in a fireteam.
-
Thanks for typing anyways. Idk when will you implement this shit

Edited by Ni Knight: 5/7/2016 1:56:43 AMNot only pvp players feel the need for it, I'd love to choose which strike and in which difficulty I'll play (with matchmaking for those specific "filters", of course). I'm really tired of Omnigul. I hate leaving games, but some times I just return to orbit, or, change character...
-
That would be cool too but all they would have to do is add the difficulties you desire to the directory
-
Yeah, that'd certainly do the trick.
-
Hey Cozmo, thanks for responding to something that means a lot to all of us. Just wondering, is the reason for not implementing private matches because of schedules and time constraints, or due to not having the right tools to incorporate it in the game?

I know you're in a position that puts you between having to convey community input to the decision makers, and that having to give that input to them puts you somewhat in a difficult position because you aren't necessarily able to share word for word the discussions. I wouldn't want to have every discussion via email to the appropriate coworker broadcast over the net to prove I'm doing my job which can constantly be scrutinized by community. It's only a suggestion bro. Because you are by title and very likely your job description to respond to community input, but there's only so many ways to acknowledge that input from community I'd recommend simply in a thread an occasional posting of "Today's forwarded community input" that solidifies and dates the feedback you forward. Looking at one acknowledgment is just 1 thing. But having a thread of compiled feedback shows how much you acknowledge and forward to Bungie by community as a guide for what is, has been acknowledged. Just a thought bro. Peace.

BUMP. Awesome

This has been ongoing for a little too long. We get that you want them Cozmo but its hard to believe anybody else at bungie does, or at least that anybody who can make change happen does. We get it, making video games is hard, you're working on it, we will see blah blah blah. Honestly it's unreasonable that this has not already been implemented. Take that as you wish but know that many feel this way.
-
I'd love to know exactly why it hasn't been implemented from the start and even until now. I was pretty upset when I beat the prologue and wanted to 1v1 my friend and there wasn't an option to do so. It's really over due.
-
I feel like everything that happens, or takes extra time to happen, all leads back to the fiasco right before the game came out. They had little time to put the dark below and house of wolves together. I don't think they have had time to implement a lot of the big community requests because of that. They are still trying to catch up instead of taking a break to catch up and progress forward.
-
I'm hoping it's a case of getting caught up. If cozmo has been pushing for custom games and clearly still pushing for them, it might not be something that was ever planned or currently being implemented.
-
It may have been pushed to the side while they were catching up. Something else I worry about with the longevity of destiny is that it doesn't seem that there are enough people at Bungie to put out the content that is needed to keep the game alive and kicking. If they have different teams working on different content, the live team, the raid teams, etc... then they might not have the man power to make quick changes when the community asks for something. I love destiny and hope they are able to start keeping the content fresh more often. SRL and private matches would be a wonderful start. Sorry for the long post..
-
Give us a real answer. What do the devs say back to you when you bring this information to them? Is it happening or not or they still thinking about it?
-
I'd love to know this too. Information from Bungie is guarded like Area 51.
-
Community wish list should be added to top priority to the community wish list

You mean the player trash bin?
jk bby I luv u
