So Uh... If I Gave a Girl My Number and She Hasn't Texted Me, How Long Should I Hold Out Before I Give Up?
Yes, like most kids on these forums I got my hormones raging so of course I like a girl. And on Friday I gave her my number, and she said Yes, but pretty hesitantly. And I'm 95% sure this girl doesn't like me. But she still took it. It's been 4 days and she hasn't texted me. So I ask, how long should I keep hope until I just give up?
Seriously why does this post get replies from everyone like they're a relationship specialist but I make 10 other posts that don't make me sound like a pussy and they get 0 replies
So if you're reading this, 5 days have past since I gave her my number. I was told by a friend of her that she tried to text me but I gave her the wrong number. Actually fūck me, lol. I guess we can all go home now.

Most girls wait for the guy to call first. Girls like guys who go and get what they want. Waiting around for them to call you is a guaranteed way to fail. Also, some girls will give you their number or accept yours just to be nice and not reject you in public. Sorry to sound harsh, but that's the way it is.

Yeah, that's about the time to come to the conclusion that any texts from her are unlikely. Because if you're getting responses from online strangers about your plight? Then there's a chance that someone who has met you face-to-face and actually gone through the real life steps of a number exchange may use that number. But when those anonymous online folks have lost interest? It's a pretty sure sign that the impression left by that face-to-face encounter has lost its power and "the moment" isn't inspiring her to pull out her phone.

Personality plays a part with some people but a lot of it is on social standing and cosmetics. You can be the dumbest person on the Block but if you hang out with people who are seen as socially cool and look great you will get women. It gets a little bit better when you age but it is a lesson to get your ass in the gym starting at age 14. The bottom line with this one is if you give a girl your number and she doesn't call you or text you. you pretty much have no shot. Your only real hope would be is if you had some activity and common like school or Sports and you could get to talking and your personalities click really well. There is some chance that if the girl is more brain than boobs that can work. Don't hold your breath though most younger chicks are about as dumb as a rock. Like I said earlier it's all about cosmetics and social standing. That's how you get them. If you develop a little skill it should be pretty easy to have at least two or three going at all times.
