You have to aim with Sleeper, plus there's charge time which is a bitch. Also Gjallarhorn just did more DPS, full stop.

Edited by OurWildebeest: 5/2/2016 12:58:44 AMA Sleeper crit does nearly as much damage as a Y1 Gjallahorn, and more than a nerfed Y2 Gjallahorn, adjusting for attack/enemy level. Sleeper can have up to 11 rounds, Gjallahorn can have up to 7 rounds. In specific situations (think Warpriest), Sleeper can outperform Gjallahorn at its best. But those situations are few and far between ... If the enemy is mobile, or shoots back heavily enough to force you to duck behind cover often, or has no crit spot, Gjallahorn wins by a lot.

This exactly. I prefer Sleeper to BS because of the simple base DPS it can do. It's pretty underrated.
