I'm level 32 but I'm struggling a little bit.

2 RepliesYou can be there at just about any level. I could make a new character, zip him on through to cathedral of the deep at whatever level that class starts at if I wanted to. Matter of fact, I have ran a character straight through to kill Anri and Horace to get Anri's sword before. But anyway, don't worry about struggling, though. Souls games are known for being challenging, so struggling is perfectly normal. If you feel that you may need to level up a bit before tackling it, then go right on ahead. Some of the most effective things you can do to beef up your character is to plus up your weapon (reinforce), infuse it to scale better with your gear, and spend more points on things like vigor and damage stats - ignore vitality and armor btw.

One you get to deacons of the deep you'll be fine. It's an easy fight.

*Waits until you encouter patches*

Meh, I killed the Abyss Watchers before heading to the Cathedral. You'll be fine.

If you ever have an issue on a area simply start grinding levels until you can breeze it. Anything can be easier if you grind enough Currently level 90 on my first playthrough still trying to solo nameless

You are about 8 levels higher than I was when I went through there. You're fine.

1 ReplyYour soul level is irrelevant to where you're at in the game. You can be level 70-80 and be progressing pretty quickly and still get your ass handed to you in a low level zone. The 3 main stats for a beginner to invest in would be vitality, stamina, and strength. Get your DEX high enough to use whatever weapon you want and keep your equipment load low enough so you're not fatty rolling.

1 ReplyIf you feel you're struggling, then go back and help people on your previous boss to farm souls.

Lol no not really. Like you can be lower than the recommended and do fine.

1 ReplyI don't think it matters too much. I think I was a little bit higher when I was there. Not sure though. Either way I hated that place on my first playthrough. I remember being in the skeletons graveyard for a solid hour trying to find my way out. I found where I needed to go early but turned around to explore and boy was that a mistake lol. Then when I did make it out I met the dual weilding sword bitch who put me in my place...
