I don't get this. We ain't invisible. The enemies in PVE can still see us but they just don't shoot or react. And the bluriness. Just please make us actually 100% see through cause invisibility isn't cutting it right now. Plus, this is OUR version of overshield so don't go on about how it'd be obnoxious, annoying or overpowered when warlocks get that scorch melee what can ensure them victory in a fist fight against any other melee and Titans have shields in every subclass. Especially that damn juggernaut perk. Why do you get practical invincibility but we can't be fully invisible? So what? You specked for that over shoulder charge or unstoppable so what? We specked our perks (sometimes even 2 perks) to invisibility so we should get even more. Right? That's fair to me.

Just make the invis timer work nicely. Sometimes I crouch and wait a full minute for it to activate, other times it activates as I crouch

1 ReplyWhy can't we have the same type of invisibility that the Fallen use? Their stealth tech is way better than guardians. That's all I want.

1 ReplyBalancing reasons Also invisibility + a heavy machine gun is already annoying enough.

2 Repliesso you mean that i have no way to spot you and you always get the first shot on me from wherever and whenever... that's not fair i'm not saying overshields are but you have to be able to grasp how much more overpowered that'd be with something like a shotgun or sniper... you'd always get the first shot and nobody'd be able to deny it because they can't see you. also the moment i can get an overshield for 5-8 seconds depending on setup by crouching in a corner i'll be ok with this. all titans need to be moving or get a kill for an overshield and warlocks get a very weak one on hit (don't bring in supers those don't count and never will) invisibility is decent as is because you are less noticable just like people with overshields are less vunerable if overshield would mean invincible for 5-8 seconds then sure you get to be completely invisible, if not then please think about what you're asking and realize that it's not fair to anyone if they cannot see you at all for 5-8 seconds. dangit that was a long one, well i'm done here *fluffs away*

6 RepliesUmmmmm have you ever played any game with invisibility?

You = Potato
-
Are you that kid I headshot in trials earlier on my other account, with my no land beyond while invis? Lol
-
You're off the radar. Which is the objective. It says no where that no one sees you.
-
Because invisible is short hand for in the visible spectrum.

3 RepliesInvis for scrub hunters, especially the ones who use it with terminus

In all honesty though, our invisibility does suck. I main gunslinger but from time to time I use kephris sting. And I can't help but notice on the PvE side the fallen got a major invisibility boost since HoW, same as the taken minotaurs. Even with the "taken effect" they are extremely easy to overlook. I don't think it's asking to much to remove the glowing trail we get while invisible. I'm not saying we have to be as translucent, but the tron streaks and glow defeat the purpose.

1 ReplyEdited by FrostBite-: 5/2/2016 10:52:37 AMYou are off the radar and cloaked. 100% inviz plus shotty would be massive OP, but so is juggernaut.
-
I think that "active camouflage" would be a more appropriate term for what this is, when it's all said and done. Obviously any Guardian using this in PvP or PvE is not 100% invisible to anything or anyone. The word "invisibility" is misleading. And, in my opinion, is the reason ( or most of the reason) for the confusion and frustration regarding this issue. We really don't know how easy or hard it would be for Bungie to simply change the name from "invisibility" to "active camouflage" in this game. But for Destiny 2... If Bungie chooses to use this perk, it seems like a little common sense would be in order here. Shout out to Bungie. Pass it along. That whole shootin yourself in the foot thanng. ♤cdagger2112

3 RepliesIf you've played any online game EVER. This is how they all work (besides BO3).

You become invisible on the radar.

Jesus..

2 RepliesEdited by D.Mentia: 5/2/2016 8:43:57 AMInvisible isn't that useful in PvP. I main'd a blade dancer year one, so I can easily spot that invisible guy crouching in the corner XD

2 RepliesIf you go invisible in the Crucible, you're terrible at this game.
-
Ok you can be 100% invisible but you have to be seen on the radar still so bitch ass hunters cant just hide go invisible and get a free melee kill because of that bullshit perk
-
9 RepliesPersonally, I'd rather they fix the fact that your invisible silhouette quite visibly glows when agility is maxed.
-
2 RepliesThe real benefit is that it takes you off of radars, not the invisibility aspect. Everybody here can agree that in the Crucible, if somebody was able to go completely invisible, balance would quickly be an even bigger controversy.
-
I hide from pve enemies?
-
That would be because of "balance". As of right now in destiny we can spam the invis at will because it isn't a full invis. If it was complete invis that would make it OP enough that they would have to make going invis much harder to get/activate. Halo 5 is a great example of this. Their invis is basically 100% but its not easy to get. Most players can only get it once per round and that's if they have the cards to burn. Halo has balanced it out nice, for this to happen in destiny then we would have to lose something you like about it currently as well.

So what I'm getting from this is.... You need to git gud?

But you don't show up on radars so it's easy af to flank people in trials
