As people in the know would know, strike exclusive drops have a greater chance of dropping during a nightfall. Currently you can select a strike to be heroic or normal if you so choose or you can through the vanguard playlist. You can also select the weekly heroic playlist and get a guaranteed 3 engrams for completing three separate strikes. What I'm proposing is that you can select a strike to have nightfall modifiers. Similar to how the weekly heroic strike playlist works. Being that to get the weekly bonus, you have to go through the weekly playlist. So to get the weekly nightfall bonus, chance for an exotic and the 500 vanguard rep, you must do the weekly nightfall. The goal here is to give the people wishing to grind for strike exclusive gear the best chance for it to drop without having to wait for the strike to be the week's nightfall. This also give ample opportunity for players to do get the exclusive loot with the roll they wish to have.
