Did you see what direction ubisoft is taking.....
Pay attention closely bungie......
The division has implemented new cheat engine detection and has caught more cheaters in two days then it has SINCE LAUNCH........
First offence = 14 day suspension
Second offence = PERMANENTLY BANNED!
Get on this bungie!!
Edit......to the people saying the cheating in the division is different than the cheating in destiny........CHEATING IS CHEATING!
Edit.....cheat detection adding latency......if bungie would take 0.00003% of the funds we've made them billionaires and spent it on dedicated servers it wouldn't matter......the division has never lagged out, given me an error message or bugged in an encounter, boss fight or any general area of the game thanks to dedicated servers.
Edit...thank you to the non fanboys that can see the cheap lazy bad crap pile of an excuse bungie is being......I still love destiny with all its flaws and I'll continue to fight for what needs to be fixed, changed and replaced.

I don't see why anyone would be against penalizing cheaters unless they cheat them selves. Dedicated servers would be ideal but the cost is very expensive and I think Bungie/activision are too cheap to spend the money. Maybe destiny 2 would have dedicated servers it has been one of the most requested topics in the forums. The division still has bugs but you don't see lag issues like you do in destiny. Ubisoft has been quick to fix issues they see and I think they do a pretty good job. However the division still has its issues and I don't find the game play very fun. The customization is really good but I think the pvp could use some work it is not very user friendly to solo players.

Bungie practically supports cheating. With their complete lack of action it is giving a behind the back nod to it. If they had done basically anything the place would be clean by now but they have done nothing.

I agree with you I hate that when us English men report lagging cheater every 5 minutes for an hour nothing is done about them but in too they are kicked out every so often bungie if someone receives 5 reports one every 2 minutes that they are lagging for God shakes kick them I don't care where it is or what it is they are doing you should be kicking them not letting them ruin someone else's game.

Those need an instant ban. I am talking about the possible farming exploits, out of map areas and the like. This is 100% the devs fault. Punishing the players for abusing in game mechanics which were made possible due to sloppy coding, is simply wrong. Let's imagine the following scenario: Bungie launches an update, in which Oryx can drop 20 pieces of gear, if you jump in an X pattern before shooting him for the last time. In that case, Bungie would be at fault for sloppy coding, as I use a coded in built mechanic. If it's possible to endlessly farm bosses and go out of the map the whole time, then Ubi is fault, not the players. A player can never be at fault when he uses an in built mechanic, as he adheres to the rules of the game while doing so. Banning people because Ubisoft coded badly is by far the cheapest and laziest way to deal with the situation.

That would be nice, I put a entire clip into this fools face and nothing happened! It was pretty funny but very annoying. Bungie needs to address the cheating.

At least they're doing something about cheaters. Unlike Bungie that has had this game running almost two years.

Imagine every strike in destiny you do, you get an exotic. Now how fun would destiny be then? I don't know about you but there is no point in playing the division anymore besides having every high end like everybody else. Isn't having high ends that other people don't have more rewarding than having every one run around with the same stuff. Division was one of the best games out there till they ruined it just like many other games.

2 RepliesDivision is broken. You can roll through gates, fall through the map while doing an emote, and get stuck in a loop where abilities glitch out and you can't heal or anything. The final bullet in the mag won't fire half the time, and reloading the same gun is impossible during the hiccup. I can't collect two Echoes either... None of that is cheese. All of that is an example of poor quality control. I was stuck in a corner and couldn't move for 10 minutes today, and as luck would have it, was carrying a decent haul from DZ 6. Rogues erased an hours worth of play, because I couldn't even turn to defend myself. The same people who thought Unity was good enough for sale think that Division is. At least the character models have faces this time around, right?
