Kicked for buying sterling treasure
Last week I was in a party doing challenge of elders and we started talking about sterling treasure boxes and buying them. I then began to tell them that I had bought ten just to try and get the taken set of armor. I got kicked shortly afterwards after a barrage of abuse and words like pay to win bs and other words I can't repeat here . This is what things have come to now in destiny .
EDIT: a lot of salty people surfacing here but also a lot of cool people ,surprisingly more than i expected,thanks to you all.

Haven't spent money myself on treasures, but I still see no point in abusing someone who does. It's all cosmetic, no advantage is gained by buying boxes. Let the salt flow past you and just enjoy your own gaming experience your way. Cheers.

It's not pay to win, the drops you get are level 3. If someone is crying about paying to win, they obviously are just salty or jealous cause they're to stingy to drop 10 dollars to get gear instead of grinding.

I've had people threaten to kick me because I wasn't going to stand in the dumb spot he wanted me to and I had someone randomly take us out of the challenge to bring us to the nightfall. People are shitty, rock that taken gear.

Who gives two sparrow farts how someone spends their own money, or money they have access to? It's not pay to win in any way, but i do consider them a waste of money. I'd take a short pause just to laugh at you, but be cool again after.

They think it's pay to win because you have chance to get reputation boosters which help you get packages with good gear in it. You still have to play to get your reputations up. All faction vanguard and crucible packages contents max out at 330. You still have to do Iron Banner , Raids, and Coe to get 335 gear.
