Gunslinger needs a buff in PVE against enemies of the Darkness and Agility Stat needs re-tuning for all guardian classes
I am going to list each perk and weather they should be improved or not and if an improvement is necessary how it would effect the game
Grenades:
Incendiary Grenade the dot should burn longer but the blast radius should be more compact initial detonation should do low damage
Swarm Grenade if all grenades hit a single target that target should die imidiatily any remaining drones should search for any nearby targets.
Tripmine Grenade the only thing this needs to Not do is explode in our face.
Jumps:
Double Jump (default)
Better Control it's fine leave as is
Triple Jump the height needs to be on par with the other classes honestly
Higher Jump honestly this particular jump is redundant Triple jump provides higher lift, this should be replaced with something perhaps some kind of jumping off walls or something
1st Perk Tree
Golden Gun (Default) (while this perk is ACTIVE any knife thrown should do a small amount of solar dmg)
Deadeye this is redundant the golden gun is already very accurate, instead add precision aim and higher damage for critical shots, the name would fit better anyways(PVP wouldn't be affected by this since if an opponent guardian is struck by a golden gun shot they would still die regardless, if your shot in the face or not by a laser your still dead sorry it's logic)
Combustion it's fine
Gunfighter add an extra 10 sec reduction and it's fine.
Perk Tree 2
Throwing Knife (Default) this should be doing STANDARD solar dmg Not kinetic dmg
Circle of Life (Why is this perk in the game? it's utterly useless) scoring a precision kill with a knife while Golden Gun is active should start "Either" health regeneration for 3 sec. or grant a small
over-shield (like 15-25%) after Golden gun wears off for 6-8 seconds it would be random which occurs
Incendiary Blade the only improvement this needs is the ability to ignite nearby enemies for 3seconds
Knife Juggeler it's fine it works as intended
Perk Tree 3:
Path Forgotten slight boost to armor/toughness
Path Forbidden slight boost to recovery
Path Unknown slight boost to either armor or recovery Not both
Perk Tree 4:
Scavenger the type of ammo picked up should determine how much cool-down your Hunter receives this should also work when picking up ammo boxes in PVP making the perk useful in PVP
Keyhole should over penetrate infinitely (if it doesn't already that is)
Gunslinger's Trance Gunslinger's Trance increase duration by 3 seconds
Perk Tree 5:
Way of the Drifter slight boost to recover
Way of the Fearless slight boost to armor
Way of the Nomad boost to armor slight boost speed agility
Perk Tree 6:
Chain of Woe increase stack up to 4x and duration by 2 seconds
Over the Horizon this should be the default range of Golden gun it's a beam of light.
If anything the perk should act like mulligan missing a shot returns a round to the magazine it DOES NOT in anyway increase duration it just gives the Hunter another chance to shoot the bullet out of the 1-4 bullets their special provides (we miss nobody's it happens ..) (aiming adjusting reacquiring a target while dealing with a time-limit sucks this would at least relive some of that stress) Titans Warlocks Do Not suffer from that issue the only thing either class needs to be concerned with is blowing themselves up with their own super Which frankly SHOULDN'T be happening in the first place same with all the guardian grenades.(sorry I ranted a little there )
Gambler's Dagger this one is fine it works as intended it would be nice if you could pick up the knife if horribly missed it's target and return 10-20% of your melee energy but again that maybe a bit too much.
Yes I do realize many none Hunter Guardians Will disagree with these suggested changes keep in mind they are mainly intended for PVE and any change to PVP would be minute at best.
Then again they're suggestions it's doubtful bungie gives a shift about my opinion since they have NEVER responded to anything I type on the forums, so don't fret, besides I main both a Titan and Warlock and frankly I hate the "Ridiculous Squishiness" of the Hunter Class in PVE It's like always being stuck playing a Hard mode Character even in easy mode. Hunter's need to be looked at for their own benefit as a class
also apparently so do Bladedancers hit registration is pretty bad both in pvp and pve
also shadowjack's duration needs a 2-3 second increase.
Now onto the Agility Stat
Agility should effect maximum jump height for all Guardian types and since hunters have the most for the sacrifice of either lower recovery or armor they should have the highest jump height compared to other guardian classes as well as the fastest movement speed.
a contrail behind any guardian class should occur if the agility is high enough Not just hunters Everybody
Get rid of sprint cool-down if agility is near max
movement speeds while aiming down sights should also be effected by agility
If agility is high enough sliding distance should increase.
none sprint speed should also feel faster.
If you guys agree or disagree then feel free to explain yourselves but no swearing kids read this stuff too.
keep it P-G
if you have suggested improvements for a subclass it doesn't need to be Hunters feel free to voice your opinions it's a free forum enjoy. =)
