Shoulder charge is broken. It has always been broken

Last night I decided to find a good way to counter them... and failed. I tried Shade Step and got nailed every time. Their momentum magically continues when they turn 90 degrees or more. Once I jumped about 30-40 meters in the air and that fat -blam!-er rocketed [i]straight up[/i] from the ground and nailed me. I even looked down in time to see that wide-load blast off and try to shove his head up my ass. I'm sure lag had something to do with that last one, but goddammit. [spoiler]I had been using Thesan to counter them, but I've been using different weapons lately.[/spoiler]

Or just be a higher light level. I haven't one hit killed anyone with a shoulder charge in forever

Or just no wing upwards..... Shoulder charge doesn't connect to opponents in the air for some reason

Step to the side gets all but the best off gaurd
