So Hows Dark Souls 3 Guys? *SPOILER FREE PLEASE!*
Now, I'm not sure I'm far into the game but to avoid spoilers for those who totally aren't thats why I put that up. You can post about your weapons and armor, etc but know there are some people who think even [i]THOSE[/i] are spoilers so just shove them in a spoiler block I suppose.
I personally think this game isn't a third game but is the true Dark Souls 2 since the normal one we have doesn't really have that much connections save for some references and of course Old Dragonslayer and I'm [i]still[/i] not sure why hes there.
Its a beautiful game but of course it didn't learn from DksII. POISE IS STILL NON-EXISTENT. That drives me insane. Other than that fighting feels great but in PvP I've noticed that no one uses skills at all they just fight like in DkS1 which kind of ruins their purpose upsettingly.
I've gotten stuck on some bosses which is always a treat so it totally feels like a souls game. If your a fan of the souls series I do indeed recommend it.
This is some spoilerifick stuff under here.
[spoiler]I love how the Silver Knight armor sets cape actually FŪCKING MOVES NOW HOLY SHIT. Why don't Silver Knights make the original death noise as well? They also bleed actual blood for some reason as well which I've found strange. I am lore diving like a complete nerd.[/spoiler]

8 RepliesPvp is annoying as hell since everyone uses an estoc and they think they're gods because they stagger you to death. I can't wait until they patch the whole poise being gone bs so we can cut the grass and ruin the ones who think they're special for killing someone with an estoc. I'm not that good at pvp but know enough about it this time around to know it's annoying as hell but I still enjoy it. I just pull out my dark sword or those 2 katanas and give it my all. [spoiler]wait til you fight nameless king! BTW I'm a quality build on this char and the 2 katanas you get towards the end of the game are beast. That and dark sword is great.[/spoiler]

Maybe it's your level, but skills are used in at least 80% of the matches I fight. And I primarily pvp. I'm greatly enjoying how poise works in this game over any previous game. Dark souls 1 and 2 didn't get it quite right in my opinion. Heavy weapons in this game give tons of hyper armor which great. They should. And dex weapons are fast and can hit multiple times easily. Poise before, espicially in 2 someone could just spam katanas with heavy armor and completley ignore being hit which should not be a thing. But in 1, heavy armor couldn't be broken of poise at all. It sucked. I feel with the way str weapons have hyperarmor/poise it balances the game far more. I love my dex weapons in this game, but I love even more how I have to pick every single hit I strike, because str opponents can easily strike right through me
