Which class does better with no abilities and guns and no buffs I'm looking at you gunslingers
Edit: I always forget to check for errors sorry

This topic makes no sense. *hunter shakes his head sadly, pays his tab and strolls out*

Depends on the player however some subclasses have disadvantages and advantages for example players who are using the dark drinker are strong enough to slay heavily shielded targets looking at you defenders if the dark drinker has the void whirlwind attack start abandoning the shield if not shotgun the guy
-
You can't specify guns kill to a class At that point, it depends on the specific player as you have taken the entire subclass out of the picture. But I think I have more guns kill. I mean, I get 1st place using a Fabian(My new fav) and an Antimony(which I get no kills with :/)

Sunsinger = grenade spamming Storm caller's = I don't even wanna talk about it Blade dancer = broken broken broken Shadow shot = support class with tracking arrows that kill without ever hitting there target and shade step shade step shade step.

Hunters have it easier because of the jump they have. Its quick and land fast oppose to floating in the air where hunters can jump and get easy shots. Thats why i believe hand cannons on hunters are deadly.
-
Well considering that hunters have so many perks and agility that help them with gun control and there are so many more of them this poll is pretty much inaccurate, I totally agree that warlocks are on the bottom though
-
No abilities and perks would mean everyone is the same. Meaning it would come down to the player. This is dumb.
-
This is a retarded post. This is purely based on the player..
-
I would think that general gunplay requires player skill. Unless we are talking more about lore, then I would say gunslinger hunters
-
i guess tether does require good aim, that comes from a titan titans are tanks warlocks are idk hunters are very precise

Hunters have many perks that effect the guns performance. And we also are kinda know to be masters of the gun. We even have a subclass based around a Flaming revolver...

5 RepliesGuns are guns are guns. They should perform the same across all classes. If you asked me what abilities are the hardest to make work would I'd say Hunters. Yeah yeah "Look at the Huntard" But hear me out. Warlocks have a grenade on each class they can miss by 5m and still hit. One of their supers you hold down the trigger and look at people... You now regain health on all abilities with Voidwalker... Sunsinger is as we all know is complete bullshit with burn build and easily takes the least skill to reap the rewards. I mean Sunsinger shield prevents critical damage unless it is enough to break the shield. Or at least it used to, not sure how the patch effected that part of it. For some reason warlocks are the only ones without hit detection problems. Maybe it is because their melee is like 3 or 4 m range. Titans are medium difficulty. Regarding Sunbreakers regaining health from every ability kill and on a ranged super is super nice. Built in combustion although they still need to fix the whole "we changed the blast radius on hammers but not how soon it explodes like horseshoes and hand grenades so sometimes it explodes too early doing no damage" thing. Even then this super is pretty forgiving because of that aspect, it need to be only somewhat near someone when the super is working properly. Bubble takes a lot of strategy to use correctly yet it is really hard to die in it without the use of another super from the enemy team. Also you generate two orbs instantly for your team, where other supers need 2-4 kills to do the same. Smash is call fist of panic for a reason. There are good smash plays but I'd say 90% of the time it's used to get out of a jam to kill one or two people. You even get unstoppable which is basically invincibility during smash. You can straight up tank a GG shot.
For those looking I know my Titan is only level 3, I just remade him because this game is so stale ;)
Now we get to hunters. Bladedancer hit detection is awful as we all know and their neutral game is meh. Skips are nice but a super that pretty much gets rids of any longer range defense and getting in shotgun/shoulder charge/ melee range leaves most pretty vulnerable. Also you have to kill two people to generate one orb. Nightstalker is berated about the wombo combo, yet you need both a melee charge and grenade charge to do it, along with a perk in the tree that trades off better stats or more orb generation. Sunsingers trade "Orb chance on scorch kill", "radiance lasts two seconds longer", "Angel of light (haha)" and a second grenade which you don't need against people burning. Not to mention both the smoke and grenade need to be right on top of you to work. If you are on the edge and get out soon enough, they wasted both charges. It's not like the bolt grenades that auto aim from so far away. There isn't a single grenade melee combo that doesn't kill in the game. Gunslingers I feel are the hardest to use effectively of the course of a match. If GG is just slightly off target it isn't a kill unlike every other super where it can miss a little. It is something you have to aim really well. It is the only super without an armor buff (I don't think it needs one, just saying). Throwing knifes are the hardest melee to land, but super satisfying and helpful when used correctly. Tripmines are most Gunslingers grenade of choice and 90% of the time they don't kill because the damage isn't high enough to one hit kill or they ran by too fast and received only a portion of the damage. Either way if they don't die you either accept that fact when they do it across the map or have to rush in to do that last damage when close. They have to be placed super strategically to be really effective unlike a lot of grenades because they are super noticeable by the enemy team if placed poorly. Just my two cents, but who cares? I'm a huntard.

Gunplay is universal no? We A Ll have the same access
-
Since hunters actually have multiple perks that affect gunplay but are contingent on being skillful, I would have to say hunters. But really, I mean...all of them
-
Chain of woe Gunslingers trance Case closed

2 RepliesIf you play Sunbreaker which has a horrible neutral game then it takes the most gun skill
-
Well if you don't consider any abilities it's obviously gonna be the class that specializes in agility. No?
-
Smh..has nothing to do with the class..it's the player.
let's beat the dead horse until OP realizes how dumb the poll is..
-
2 RepliesNone of the above. A gun does its job, regardless of the type of Guardian wielding it.
-
It's player skill. The class has absolutely nothing to do with it
-
3 RepliesWell, other then defender, because you get wol I'd have to say titans or warlocks. Hunters always have some kinda gun buff on their classes.
-
2 RepliesIt's not about the class it's about the player you fool! Anyone can push a trigger but it takes skill in a player to use it effectively
-
Titans rely the most on gun skill, Period. ~Warlock Main
-
The Class with the least competitive supers. Pretty obvious which one.
Not Hunters.
