I'm with you on this one. I've yet to see anyone escape from it. With the venom and smoke it's impossible to get out before it kills you because you have two things taking your health down and you may get shot as well.

I've seen plenty escape it. Hell, I've escaped it plenty of times. Sure, if you hit someone point blank with BOTH 'nades then yes... chances are they're going to be quite dead. But being almost hit point blank with a vortex grenade tends to do that by itself. I just fail to see why people fume over this. Many / Most grenades will one-shot you by themselves. This requires 2 separate charges, and still isn't a guaranteed kill. With my Titan or Warlock I could hit someone with a fusion grenade and kill 1 or 2 people, then still have my melee charge to punch the guy standing next to me.

You you don't really need envenomed for your enemies to die quick. The Vortex or whatever grenade you're using deals most of the damage.

Compared to a grenade that sticks to you and then you die, I'd say it's pretty equal.

Fusion grenades can only kill one person. The blast radius is like 5 cm.

Try getting out of a fusion of flux grenade... Yet to see one succeed

Have you never seen hunters who are stuck just shade step out of it. I have multiple times it's why I stopped using fusions
