Similar to what you see in sports to congratulate a good play. Actually this whole controversy gave me an idea and I think it would make everyone happy and this includes Bungie believe it or not. What if we could have a subsection of emotes we could toggle on or off called "receiving end," and you could set emotes to automatically and seamlessly respond to one that someone does to you. Example: person A has buttslap celebratory emote. Person B has kick to the balls set for "receiving end." Person A uses buttslap and Person B responds with kick to the balls! Nobody is offended.
