I've completed it 8 times now, and have yet to see someone get one of the exotics. So, how come I'm hearing people say the drop rate is insane? Should I kill bosses quickly, or rack up points first? Or is it complete RNG no matter how long I take, how impatient Variks gets, or how many points I earn?

Edited by Jamesxgamz: 4/27/2016 2:49:08 PMI haven't done any farming. I ran each of my guardians through each week to get the 90,000 points. After 2 weeks (18 runs through CoE) I had the 3 HoW exotics and had dismantled some duplicates It's random. You don't have to do it fast or slow or without Variks complaining or reach a certain score. Just chill out. You have about 5 months until the next content is dropped. If you run 3 guardians through 3 times per week for the next 20 weeks that's 180 runs. Why bother trying to farm it in the first few weeks?

Did CoE all week last week and got all 3 exotics back to back to back, I just think RNG is stupid sometimes
-
Just beat it as fast as possible, gotten all 3 at least 3 times

Edited by Ravonov: 4/27/2016 2:50:58 PMI was 315 light and the second time I've ever beaten it I got the Queen Breakers Bow 316. I guess I was lucky. Only exotic I've gotten from it so far.

Dude Listen Its all RnG Pretty simple

I got all 3 and extras from farming it the first week. Not that I'm special or anything but I haven't received any from taking my time and getting high points, not that it can't happen. And, you won't see them come up on the end game rewards screen.

Step 1. Get a time machine Step 2. Farm week 1 CoE Step 3. Swim in the Exotics Step 4. Swim in Exotic Shards DESTINY TIP: Everytime Bungie releases a new game mode, (SRL, Crimson Dubs, CoE). You have to hit it hard first week! The loot and rewards are INSANE the first week of everything. Whatever the new activity, the rewards tone down after that first week. So never tell yourself "I'm busy, I'll get to it" or "next time" or "I wonder if that kid struggling in that pool, needs help".

Got queenbreakers bow on my first ever completion, gregs promise on like my 4th. They appear to be pretty common, both of mine didn't show on the drop screen and just went straight to inventory though, could be why you're not seeing your teammates get them.

Easy method!!! You shouldn't have missed week 1 when it was small arms.

1 ReplyJust keep running CoE, I saw a mate get all three drop within 4 runs :)
-
Keep at it, i have (3) lord of wolves, (2) Dregs promise, and (2) queensbreakers bow in vault for future infusing fuel
-
Just kill the bosses as fast as u can an ur more likely to get an exotic or class item
-
5 RepliesIt's dependant on RNG too. After I complete my sigil, I run it as many time as I can focusing on the boss only. I've been lucky the last two weeks. Due to farming coe, I was able to get some weapon for infusion and class items to help get all my characters 330 and above. I still have 12 Lord of wolves, handful of queen breaker, and few dregs promise.

Don't focus on exotics. Focus on ranking up house of Judgment. You have to run alot of poe and you'll more then likely get some to drop.

3 RepliesAround 20 runs still nothing for me or the other i play whith
