Yes. I know. We have all been killed by axion bolts. Whether its those annoying taken dudes or Golgoroth coughing em up, we have all been killed. But yet again I really love the way Bungie inserts ideas into their visual arts: roundness kills
What do I mean?
Ever since Newton and the days when scientific religious thinking supplanted Catholic dogma as the primary way of controlling what society thinks, the round earth lie has been shoved down our throats from the time we could talk. But the earth simply is not round - its impossible - literally. "Roundness" kills intellectual minds just like those bolts kill us guardians. Here is what I mean:
If the earth were round all its water would drain to the south pole. If it is moving through space (not to mention spinning) those of us not standing on the side facing its forward motion would get sucked off. Imagine throwing a paper air plane from the back of a moving pickup truck. Same thing. And most obvious of all: the coriolis effect. If the earth were really as massive as scientist claim (and assuming gravitation is real like they say), the bullet, gun, and shooter would be sucked to the surface of the earth. Its that simple.
So why does everyone believe? Its like destiny: like the taken. Embedded in the notion of roundness (axion bolts) is intellectual death.

1 Replythe water would not be on the south pole because there is no gravity in all general space, just huge objects in it, you -blam!-ing retard. There would be no paper plane effect thingy because there has to be air resistance, and there is no air in space you -blam!-ing degenerate.
