Iron Banner Clash Is The Worst
There is no Incentive to move what so ever, the maps Don't have good flow when players Do move. Maps Like Bannerfall, which is a usually Great Map, are just hold your side till the enemy is forced to rush you.
Variation in Iron Banana is nice, but Clash is just Awful.

6 RepliesPeople in Destiny when Iron banner roles around; Control- OMG why does nobody capture points! They only go for kills! Clash-OMG nobody is getting kills and there isn't even an objective WTF! Rift- Full teams are too strong and no one on my team goes for the spark! What do you people want! zone control? Where kills are less focused and unless you play the objective you lose? Or would full teams be too OP or would something still bother you?

10 RepliesIron Banner Clash is only bad for those who never leaves orbit without their 6-Man Fire Team by their side. The funny thing is Control and Rift is just as susceptible to camping as clash is actually Control and Rift can be worst. The difference is camping a certain area in Clash doesn't always lead to a win but once a 6 man fire team gets in the spots they need to hold down its game over. Specially if people use their brains once in a while and flank instead of walking into an ambush and keep dying. The day when the "campers" (smart ones) stop camping certain areas is the day when idiots finally learns something new and amazing and stop walking into that area constantly and tries flanking instead.

You can take a game mode out of Iron Banner but you can't take Iron Banner out of the game mode - Iron Banner will always suck. But I need that rocket launcher so I will go in there with fire bolts and primary a shotgun while tbaging on every kill. Ignite every 6man fireteam that sits in spawn with Mida Multitools and just "team shoots". Have no fear - Glowiii is here.

Edited by Spidey: 4/27/2016 8:58:41 PMClash is the best mode for IB, really. You only get XP if you win, and Clash is the game mode that allows you to have the win or loss in your own hands the most. With the improved loot system, it isn't as big a deal. I'm getting great drops win or lose without even having to rank up, so if they wanted to do another mode like Rift now, I would be ok with it. Nothing was more frustrating though than playing Rift when you needed to win in order to get the Rank packages, or to even get to a Rank where stuff would drop period, and you couldn't cause you needed a team that knew what they were doing like legit, legit.

It's not that bad actually... Everyone STILL goes to their trials spots and stops on every map even in clash... All that means to me is it's just way less dangerous and risky for me to hit their flanks and angles... Free kills man

I haven't experienced the issues you are complaining about in the matches I've played so far. In fact, there has been really good flow and firefights popping up in all different areas of the maps. Oh well
